Celtic will look to maintain their winning run this month as they host an out-of-form Aberdeen at Parkhead on Wednesday night.
Neil Lennon’s side came from behind to secure all three points against St Johnstone on Sunday courtesy of a quickfire Odsonne Edouard brace. They looked defensively shaky once again and switched off for the Saints’ goal, but French Eddy turned on the style in a period of individual brilliance.
They return to Celtic Park for the first time since their 2-1 win over Motherwell, aiming to make it five wins on the bounce after finally finding some form.
They face an Aberdeen side lacking confidence. The Dons are on a five-game winless streak, placing manager Derek McInnes’ future in doubt following a poor run of form. An uninspiring goalless draw with St Mirren last weekend sums up their current state.
Despite that run, however, they’re still in the race for third place. McInnes’ men sit four points behind Hibs in the table and will want to find their footing as we enter the latter stages of the season.
