Celtic fans unimpressed with Dan Petrescu managerial links
Celtic have reportedly placed Dan Petrescu on their managerial ‘shortlist’, according to journalist Gianluigi Longari, as cited by Sport Witness.
As to be expected, the links with the Romanian have had plenty of Hoops fans talking on social media.

The 53-year-old recently left Turkish side Kayserispor by mutual consent, with his exit reportedly due to family reasons. The Romanian has held 16 managerial positions over the last 18 years, with one of his most recent coming in his native country with CFR Cluj.
Petrescu led the team to a famous 5-4 aggregate win over Celtic in the Champions League qualifying rounds during the 2019/20 campaign, with the two clubs also meeting in that season’s Europa League, exchanging 2-0 home wins in the group stage.
We shared the links to Petrescu on our official Read Celtic Facebook page, asking Celtic fans for their thoughts on the links.
Here is what some had to say, with many left unimpressed by the Romanian…
Tommy Murray: No thanks
Daniel Griffin: Cheap option
Brett Lee Holland: Nooooooooo waaaaay
Steven Taylor: It’s a no from me.
Michael Fabisiak: And a no from me
