Arsenal have made a ‘solid enquiry’ in regards to a summer deal for Odsonne Edouard.
That’s according to transfer guru Ian McGarry, talking on the Transfer Window podcast, cited by The Boot Room. The report claims that Celtic are ready to part ways with the 23-year-old for £21.5m.
Edouard was first linked with a move to north London 12 months ago, and it seems as if the Gunners are still keen on the French forward following his fine form for the Hoops during that time.
He’s scored 20 times in 32 appearances in all competitions this season in what has been a disappointing team campaign at Celtic Park.

It seems as if Edouard’s asking price is dropping with every passing month. The Hoops wanted £40m last summer for the striker, £25m in January and it now appears as if £21.5m will be enough for Edouard’s services.
Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly owed 40% of any sell-on fee, so should Celtic cash in for £21.5m, the French giants would take £8.6m, leaving the Hoops with £12.9m.
Celtic are thought to have paid £9.27m for the striker back in 2018, so a £21.5m transfer could leave the club with a measly £3.63m profit.
