Celtic fans give their thoughts to news on Michael O’Neill

Michael O’Neill is thought to be under consideration for the vacant Celtic job – and, as to be expected, plenty of Hoops supporters have been giving their views to the news on social media.

According to an exclusive report from Give Me Sport, the Stoke City manager is on the club’s radar following Neil Lennon’s resignation last week.

Celtic officials would reportedly consider talking to the 51-year-old, who rejected the position back in 2016, should they get the indication he would be keen on taking over at Parkhead.

O’Neill, who is best known for his eight-and-a-half-year stay as Northern Ireland boss, is under contract in Staffordshire until 2023. He’s won just 28 of his 71 games as Potters boss, with Stoke sitting 11th in the second-tier.
