Celtic and Leeds United have been credited with an interest in Stade Brest left-back Romain Perraud.
According to the Daily Mirror, the Hoops are ‘keen’ on the 23-year-old.
It’s not the first time Celtic have been linked with the French full-back, though. Back in 2019, the Hoops were interested in Perraud during his time at Nice. the player even admitted Celtic made a ‘concrete offer’, however, he remained in France with Brest.
Perraud, valued at £7.2m by Transfermarkt, has made 51 appearances for Brest since his £1.8m move just over 18 months ago.

With Diego Laxalt only on loan, the Hoops could well be in the market for a new left-back this summer, even with Boli Bolingoli returning from his loan stint away from Glasgow.
However, even though the Hoops are reportedly keen on Perraud once again, we think a deal could be out of reach, especially with Premier League interest from Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
Perraud’s market value has more than trebled since his move to Brest, so he’s clearly making an impact in his native country. Valued at £7.2m, that could well be the starting bid, which may all but rule Celtic out of a summer swoop, considering their all-time record arrival is Odsonne Edouard’s £9.27m move.
