In terms of Jordan’s own career, he has enjoyed a steady ascendency since swapping Swedish football for Russian side Spartak Moscow.
His club form saw him linked with clubs such as West Ham and Borussia Dortmund at one point, with Larsson noted for his ‘ambitious’ mindset by his agent, Michael Jansen.
“Spartak knows that and they also know that he thrives at the club. It is a good combination, to be able to have open and respectful discussions”, noted Jansen [via The Scottish Sun].
“He is followed by clubs from the biggest leagues but right now Jordan’s focus is on the league, to reach the Champions League and hopefully play in the European Championships with Sweden.”
In December 2020, Larsson also described how it would be a ‘dream’ to one day play for Celtic.
The 24-year-old indeed made Sweden’s Euros squad but has yet to feature for the national side at the competition.
He managed 15 goals and 5 assists in just 29 games for Spartak last season.
