Virals: Celtic Unveil 2021/22 Home Kit

Celtic have revealed the club’s new home kit for the 2021/22 season on social media.

Taking to Twitter, the Bhoys’ official account previously released a snippet that exhibited a part of the new home jersey featuring the Hoops’ iconic green and white colours.

Featuring light white detailing between iconic green hoops, Celtic describe the new jersey’s familiar combination of hoops and stripes as a ‘match made in Paradise’.

In an inspired detail to the kit’s collar, the words ‘Our City. Our Colours. Our Club’ are woven into the back of the neck of the jersey in a traditional Celtic font in a nod to the club’s heritage.

A range of models and club players exhibit the new jersey in the club’s official unveiling video for the new kit as they discuss the resonance that Celtic has with its fans and Glasgow at large.

Many drew upon the club’s history, community and family as resonant aspects closely associated with the club.

The club-released montage also featured a close look at the high-quality stitching and fabric that makes up the kit, with the club’s statement claiming that the latest kit ‘combines soft fabric ‘and ‘moisture-wicking AEROREADY’ technology from kit sponsors adidas.
