One Celtic fan has drawn attention to Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou’s confident response to a post-match interview comment, with the tactician bemused by one point of discussion.
The reporter from Sky Sports asked about a ‘blip’ in the resounding victory which prompted a bewildered look, itself a reference to a minor dispute between Odsonne Edouard and Liel Abada over who should take the Bhoys’ late penalty kick.
Edouard eventually got his way, with Postecoglou claiming Abada had to put aside his enthusiasm for a goal in favour of the ‘elder statesman’ on the pitch.
Nonetheless, Postecoglou responded in brilliant style to the curious comment by responding ‘you found one, eh?’ with a wry smile as he jokingly challenged the reporter for poking a hole in the performance.
A more concessionary tone met Postecoglou, who was justifiably satisfied with his team’s comfortable victory as he slyly laughed off the comment before turning more seriously towards his take on the penalty dispute.
Taking to Twitter, Celtic podcaster Ryan McGinlay (@TheRyanMcGinlay) shared a still photo taken from Ange Postecoglou’s post-match interview after his side’s 6-0 thrashing against Dundee F.C. – with the Australian tactician in a state of bemusement.

Postecoglou has made a habit of taking no prisoners in his interviews and press conferences, opting for a plain-talking and no-nonsense approach to elements of the press.
His latest quip is no exception, though he was far less confrontational in this instance.
Ex-Celtic man and prominent pundit Alan Brazil has previously urged Postecoglou to watch his tone and language in order to prevent more incendiary episodes.
