Former Rangers man and pundit Craig Moore has admitted his confusion at how former Bhoys boss Gordon Strachan has maintained a role both with Dundee F.C. and Celtic.
Strachan returned to Celtic last month on a three-month basis, officially in a consultancy role, but was controversially allowed to remain as the technical director at fellow Premiership outfit Dundee.
Moore raised the issue of a possible conflict of interest given the maintenance of two roles between different clubs competing in the same league competition, let alone in other cup competitions.
He was also unsure as to the internal mood surrounding the decision to offer Strachan a role with the club and suggested there may have been unease at Celtic at an internal level over the move.
Moore said on the Go Radio Football Show [via Inside Futbol]:
“That’s just a confusing one for me.
“I really can’t wrap my head around how that is in place, how that happened and who decided that.
“I can’t imagine everyone was on board with that decision.”
Celtic have yet to announce the formal arrival of a technical director and with internal club politics seeing Dom McKay forced out of the club, the shift in model could prove to be a disputed one within the club.

It is certainly a strange and unprecedented move by Celtic and it is surprising that there has not been any interventions from Scottish footballing bodies.
A conflict of interest could be argued with a particular focus on the sharing of information between the two clubs.
