Celtic might not have been anything like as busy in the transfer market this summer as compared to last summer, but that was always going to be the case as last season Ange Postecoglou had to practically build a new team in the summer transfer window.

This summer has seen a few tweaks to the squad, rather than any wholesale changes, as the Hoops have added a few players to the squad. The most important business done by the club so far was to retain the duo of Cameron Carter-Vickers and Jota.

Last season the pair were on loan and made key contributions to Celtic winning the title, and this summer the Hoops managed to persuade both players to sign for the Hoops on a permanent basis, which was great news for the club.

Daizen Madea also made his loan move permanent, which has perhaps gone a little under the radar as that was always going to happen.

The Bhoys have also brought in goalkeeper Ben Siegrist on a free transfer from Dundee United to provide competition to Joe Hart, whilst left-back Alexandro Bernabei has joined from Lanus, and will provide competition to Greg Taylor.

Most recently, the duo of Aaron Mooy and Moritz Jenz have signed for the Hoops to provide competition in midfield and at centre-back respectively.
