Slideshow: Predicting the Celtic line-up to face Kilmarnock
Celtic are back in league action on Sunday the 14th of August, when the Hoops take on Kilmarnock in a first visit to Rugby Park in two years.
It will be a tough test for the Hoops, as for the first time this season the Bhoys will be playing on an artificial pitch. Thankfully Celtic look to have got to grips with playing on those pitches, as in the last game the Hoops played on one they recorded an emphatic win over Livingston.
As for the team that Ange Postecoglou will select for the trip to Kilmarnock, Joe Hart will be in goal. In defence, expect the full-backs Greg Taylor and Josip Juranovic to retain their places in the side.
When it comes to the centre-back pairing, Cameron Carter-Vickers will start and we predict Moritz Jenz will keep his place in the team, it is too risky to bring Carl Starfelt back into the side after injury on an artificial pitch.
In midfield, captain Callum McGregor will start as usual, with the duo of David Turnbull and Matt O’Riley starting further forward. As for who will play up-front, Kyogo should start after his goal against Ross County, as should Liel Abada, who also found the back of the net. Celtic’s best player at the moment, Jota, also seems certain to start.
