Scoring goals is what football is all about, and Celtic have been lucky enough to have some wonderful goal scorers at the club since the club was formed.
From Jimmy Quinn to Jimmy McGrory to Stevie Chalmers to Kenny Dalglish to Henrik Larsson to the present day Hoops forwards Kyogo and Georgios Giakoumakis, Celtic have had players who have consistently put the ball in the back of the net.
That is what makes a good Celtic team, and the success that the Hoops have had over the years has been built of many things, but putting the ball in the net has perhaps been the biggest key to the success that Celtic have had practically since the club was formed in 1888.
Hopefully Celtic’s trend of always having good strikers at the club will go on, as the better the strikers the more successful the Hoops usually are.
