Celtic have certainly been busy in the transfer window thus far, with Alistair Johnston and Yuki Kobayashi joining the Hoops, and there has been a lot of speculation about other players that could both join Celtic and leave Celtic in the January transfer window.

With that in mind, we predict who could be in the Hoops starting line-up when the transfer window closes and the Hoops line-up against St Johnstone on the 4th of February.

We predict that Joe Hart will remain in goals for the Bhoys, but there will be a change at full-back, with Greg Taylor remaining at left-back, and new arrival Alistair Johnston featuring at right-back, in place of Josip Juranovic. At centre-back, despite the arrival of Yuki Kobayashi, we predict that he won’t be in the team when the transfer window closes, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Carl Starfelt will keep their place in the side.

In midfield, there has been, at the time of writing, very little speculation about Celtic players, so we expect that the trio of Callum McGregor, Matt O’Riley and Reo Hatate will be in the Hoops line-up.

On the wing, Jota and Sead Haksabanovic will start, and there has been speculation about Celtic signing strikers. We expect the Hoops to sign a striker, but Kyogo will start the game vs St Johnstone.
