Following Celtic’s Scottish Cup tie against Morton, the Hoops are back in Premiership action this weekend, against Dundee United at Tannadice, in the first of what is three league games in seven days for the Bhoys.

The games against Dundee United this season have been a contrast, with an emphatic 9-0 win at Tannadice followed by a 4-2 win at Celtic Park. Expect Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou to pick a strong team in order to maintain the Hoops’ lead at the top of the table.

With that in mind, we predict that Joe Hart will start in goals as usual for the Hoops, with Alexandro Bernabei and Alistair Johnston in the full-back roles.

We predict that Cameron Carter-Vickers will return to the starting line-up, rekindling his partnership with Carl Starfelt.

In midfield, club captain Callum McGregor will start as usual, supported by in-form Aaron Mooy and Reo Hatate further forward.

Up-front, we predict that Daizen Maeda and Jota will be on the wings, whilst Kyogo will be the lone striker for the Bhoys. It is too early for new Celtic signing Hyeongyu Oh to start, but who knows, he could be on the bench, and perhaps he could have a role to play for the Hoops in the game.
