Ange Postecoglou is doing a truly great job as Celtic manager. The Hoops boss won his third trophy in less then two seasons just over 24 hours ago when he led the Bhoys to a second successive League Cup victory.
The Hoops are also well-placed to retain the league title, and are also in the quarter-final of the Scottish Cup.

It is all going well for the Bhoys at the moment, and there seems to be a real feelgood factor about the club, and rightfully so, especially when you consider what a mess Celtic were in when the Australian took over as manager back in the summer of 2021.
The feelgood factor could increase at Celtic Park if the Hoops boss committed his future to the Bhoys by signing a new long-term contract with the club. As everyone who supports Celtic knows, the Hoops manager is on a one-year rolling contract which renews at the start of every season.
That is the contract which the Hoops manager seems to favour, but it would be such a boost for the club if the manager signed a three or four-year deal with the Bhoys.
You can bet that Celtic have offered the manager a contract extension in the past, and the club should be offering the boss the deal once more if he as yet hasn’t signed one.
There have been rumours that clubs in England have been interested in making the Celtic boss their new manager, and that is understandable when you look at just how well he has done for Celtic since taking over at the club, which really was in a bit of a crisis in the summer of 2021.
Getting the Celtic boss on a new deal would not only stop the speculation about Postecoglou’s future for a while, but it would also mean that if he eventually did leave the Hoops for another club then the Bhoys would get plenty of compensation, like when Brendan Rodgers left Celtic to join Leicester City.
If the Celtic manager doesn’t want to sign a new contract then fair enough, but the Hoops board should still be looking to offer the Celtic boss a new deal, with an improved wage, as he has more than earned that during his time at the club.

Should Postecoglou stay at Celtic for a few more seasons, he has the chance to be one of the most well-liked managers that have ever been at the club if he manages to maintain his current level of success.
Hopefully a new deal can be signed and agreed which keeps the manager at Celtic Park for years to come.
Another few years doing what he’s doing and he will become a celtic managerial idol 👏
