Celtic’s hero in the League Cup Final was Kyogo, who scored both Hoops goals in the 2-1 win over Rangers at Hampden Park.

The Hoops star showed his worth to the side with two close range finishes were enough to see the Bhoys win the trophy for the second season in a row.

It was also the second season in a row when Kyogo scored both of Celtic’s goals in a 2-1 win in the League Cup Final.
After the game, the Celtic star took to Twitter to deliver a five-word verdict on his Hoops teammates:
‘So proud of this team!!’ the Celtic striker proclaimed.

Kyogo has now won three trophies in his time at Celtic, and will be looking to win a few more before the end of the season.
READ CELTIC VERDICT:
Whilst Kyogo might be proud of his teammates, you can bet that they are also proud of him, as he was the main man for the Hoops in a great cup victory.
The best thing about Kyogo’s performance was that he reacted so well to missing a great chance before he scored his first goal of the game.
That showed that didn’t affect his confidence, and he backed himself to find the back of the net, which he did on two occasions. There was only one real candidate to be the man of the match, and it was Kyogo.
The striker’s performance was all the more impressive when you consider that only a fortnight ago he suffered a shoulder injury, but he managed to overcome that, and he was superb for the Hoops at Hampden Park.
As well as hopefully leading the Bhoys to another league title and first Scottish Cup victory, Kyogo’s goal for the season has to be to score as many goals as possible.
At the moment, he has scored 24 goals, and it seems inevitable that he will score 30 goals this season. Could he score 40? That might be a bit of a tall order, but if he keeps performing at his current high level then who knows.

The 28-year-old also needs just six more goals to score his 50th goal for the Bhoys, and he could well be reaching that landmark sooner rather than later.
The Celtic support no doubt loves Kyogo too and rightfully so, and he deserves all the praise that he will get after helping the Hoops to a dramatic cup victory over their biggest rivals at Hampden Park.
