To be fair to him, he had been very quiet up until now.
But after securing the League Cup on Sunday, Phillipe Clement couldn’t contain himself anymore.
It eventually gets into your blood at Ibrox, no matter what you do.
This superiority complex that infects everyone over there has finally got it’s grip on Clement.
He now believes his side are on for the treble.
He “knows they are going to bring back the title” this season.
Now I’m worried, genuinely scared.
Not only do they have a top class manager, but he can also tell the future.
If that’s the case, we’re completely doomed.
But seriously, can anyone tell me when a Celtic manager has stated he will win the title this early in the season?
What is it with these people?
They just cannot keep their mouths shut.

I actually thought that for once, they’d managed to secure a manager who could keep his mouth shut, and do his talking through his team on the park.
Up till Sunday, Philippe Clement had been doing that.
One trophy in the bag, and now they’re on for the treble?
Jesus wept, spare me.
Let’s call a spade a spade here, once we were knocked out of that competition, the Ibrox side pretty much had a free pass to win it.
As soon as we were knocked out by Kilmarnock back in September, I stated as much.
You don’t have to be a genius to figure that out.
However, you cannot legislate for the hubris that comes with them winning a trophy, and this week, it’s been on display for all to see.
Everybody sees Philippe Clement as the new messiah at Ibrox, yet everybody has been quite happy to ignore the assistance he has received from the boys at the Lanarkshire referees association since his arrival.
All of the penalties conveniently awarded for shirt tugs, which have saved many points for them, and put them right in this title race.
Funnily enough, Lady Cantwell’s shirt tug on Stefan Garternmann was strangely missed by VAR Andrew Dallas on Sunday.
The Eagle eyed whistler was posted blind for that particular incident.

Or maybe he went to take a dump when it happened?
Either way, of late, the VAR’s have been taking dumps from a height on other Premiership sides when it comes to offences like these against the Ibrox side.
But when the shoe is on the other foot?
Well, it isn’t..
The shoe, I mean.
On a level playing field, which we do not have in Scotland, things would have a totally different complexion.
But there’s £60 million in riches on offer in next season’s newly reformatted Champions League.
And we all know who needs the “Champions Leagues monies” desperately, don’t we?
I think you all are clever lads, so you should understand it.
Andrew “my Daddy hates Celtic” Dallas certainly does.
I’m pretty sure John “I have my own Ibrox fan club” Beaton understands it too.
Along with Steven “my brother played for the old Rangers” McLean.
They’re all clever lads.
But not so clever anymore, is Philippe Clement.

He’s gone and shot his mouth off and claimed the title is going back to Ibrox.
As if they had some divine right to it.
He’s stated the Ibrox side are on for the treble.
Now he’s got to go and back up his claims.
If Brendan Rodgers wants to instil any motivation into his charges, he has exactly what he needs after Clement’s claims.
It should be sufficient motivation for Rodgers himself too.
He hasn’t said a word about Celtic’s title aspirations.
He won’t say whether we’ve chucked it, or whether we’ll win it.
As the song goes, “You say it best, when you say nothing at all.”
As a result, he won’t look stupid if we don’t win it.
But Philippe Clement will.
He now joins the long list of clowns at Ibrox who’ve claimed they’ll win the Scottish Premiership since 2016.
What next?
#Going for 56??
Wait for it.
It’s coming.
Now you know what happens when Clement has a one on one Tete a Tete with the infamous weekly spot kicker Tav 2 pens ? The bold boy mark’s his boss ‘s card informing him that he needs to be more vocal towards the natives of Govan …. especially at Christmas as there is merchandise to be punted . Up there for thinking …down there for dancing as they say ….

When Rodgers came back to manage Separate Entity FC He stood outside Celtic park and said to all who were gathered there that he would see them all back here next May when the league was won. Did you conveniently forget about that.
We tell the truth we win by winning not cheating
Rodgers said it on the day he was unveiled, before the league had started. If Clement has indeed said that, it could be the spark we need to get going, if used in the right way by our coaching team, brilliant news to be honest. Any Rangers fan with half a brain ? must be cringing if he has said that, I was when Rodgers said it.
Desmond is the one that needs to be upset. That’s why Rodgers was brought in first time. And we need the 60m more than them as it will stop them in their tracks. If they get it with our conservative board they will get it repeatedly as we know they will spend it. We need to get it and spend half of it
But our board don’t have the appetite to bury them. Put the money in their hands and they will have no hesitation. Add that to the potential world club cup and immediately we become in trouble.
If we lose the league this season it shows how brainless the people that run us it was a no brainier to spend some of the 72 mil on new players to guarantee we wi n the league this season and the reported 60 mil for the ucl 8 points difference down to them going top of the table a complete joke.

Dense brain damaged hun, Rodgers took over Celtic, not sevco, remember sevco told Alex Thomson that the new club are a separate entity from the old club that died.
