The situation with the penalty that never was is starting to get farcical now.
I really wish our own board would kick up such a stink when supposedly blatant decisions go against us.
They couldn’t even do it this time last year, when Conor Goldson did a sterling goalkeeping job in the penalty box at Ibrox in the 2023 Hogmanay game.
If you think the Ibrox club is just focused on THAT decision from last Saturday, then think again.
There is much, much more, on their agenda here.
In a week where they have been denied what they believed to be a “stonewall” penalty, and conceded one at Ibrox, they are desperately trying to shift the focus off themselves, and firmly onto Celtic.
Timmy is once again a paranoid, delusional, conspiracy theorist.
There IS corruption in Scottish football.
But they are not involved in it, and they never have been.
It is, in fact, Celtic who are corrupt, and have all the Scottish referees on their payroll.

They now want to shine a light on it.
Their board now wants ‘openess’ and ‘transparency’ when it comes to refereeing.
They should be careful about what they wish for.
It’s been hilarious reading the comments on my articles from the Ibrox fans who think they’re trolling me.
Celtic are at 23 penalties not conceded and counting.
Watch this space, I’m told.
They are now at zero.
The Dhim Tims can’t see the wood from the trees.
They can’t see that it’s the Ibrox club that’s being hard done-by by the SFA and the referees.
Celtic own the referees.
We’re clearly paying them off, and Collum is a prime example, and the worst of the lot.
Police Scotland are in on it too, apparently.
They told Celtic that no penalties should be awarded last Saturday, lest it incite a riot, and the riotous Tims got out of control.
Which the police did not want to deal with.
So Celtic duly complied with this request, and paid Collum off to ensure no penalties were given.
I mean, Sweet Jesus, this is actually the insanity that’s doing the rounds.
And we’re the conspiracy theorists??
This is the aftermath of one decision that has gone against them at Celtic Park.

God help us all if decisions went against them with more frequency than once in a blue moon.
No pun intended.
Meanwhile, their board is ruthlessly hunting down Willie Collum and the SFA.
They are demanding that Collum never referee a game involving them again.
They have proven, conclusively, that Collum’s decision was wrong, and their media lackies have been more than happy to stoke the fires on this.
If the SFA accede to their demands regarding Collum, then the game in this country is well and truly gone to pot.
Run by a renegade club, who feels they can call the shots to suit them whenever they want.
Well, I’ll put it this way, if their demands in relation to Collum are foolishly met, then our board should be demanding the likes of John Beaton is never allowed near a game involving us again.

The whole thing is batshit crazy, to be honest.
At the end of the day, there was nothing in the VAR audio to suggest Collum did or said anything wrong.
They’re claiming that the offside didn’t come into it.
Whether it did or not is irrelivant.
Collum didn’t make his decision, the decision they’re so vehemently questioning, on that basis.
He made it because he didn’t feel it was a penalty.
That’s what all of this boils down to.
The actual handball is open to debate, but Collum felt at the time, going by the rules of the game, that it was not deliberate.
When Willie Collum decided this time last year that Conor Goldson’s handball wasn’t worthy of a penalty, did the Celtic board lose the plot?
Did they demand he never refereed one of our games again?
Did they demand to hear the VAR audio?
You know something? it mightn’t have been a bad thing if they had, then maybe we wouldn’t find ourselves where we do today.
Where the Ibrox club, and it’s rabid support believe they’re off the hook when it comes to penalties denied, and penalties conceded.
Perhaps if VAR decisions had been questioned as vehemently by our club, and there were many that went against us, as one is now by being questioned by the Ibrox club, then maybe none of this insanity we’re witnessing at the moment would ever have come about.
The simple reality is this, the Ibrox club can’t stand the fact a decision finally went against them.
That stems from almost every decision going their way up to that point.
Add to that, they hate Willie Collum because of his religion, and this really shows you what a bitter, twisted, childish and petty club they are.
Don’t get me wrong, I would lose no sleep if Collum never refereed another game, I personally think he’s an incompetent referee at the best of times.

But go after him because he’s an incompetent referee, not because he teaches in a Catholic school.
We all know that’s what this is about.
He made a call which was open to interpretation, but if you read the rules of the game, it looks like he got it right.
It was ball to hand, not hand to ball, and the ball was pretty much obscured by Sima’s body, so it’s clear there was no intent on Johnston’s part.
If that’s how Collum interpreted it, then there is no case to defend here.
This is purely a deflection tactic by the Ibrox club, and a bitter attack on a referee they do not like.
The focus is off them, because that happened, and it was then closely followed by a penalty being awarded against them, which I alluded to in yesterday’s article.
That club and their fans want to put the spotlight firmly on Celtic.
Well, they can have at it.
Nothing is going to change.
They’ll still get away with murder.
They’ll still get a free pass when it comes to penalty decisions against them.
But we’ll still keep on beating them.
No matter what they do.
That’s their lot, isn’t it?
To be simply the second best.
These mutants are barking mad who the fk do they think they are fkn loosers
I hope they keep banging on about wee wullie collum not reffing their games because the next step from them might well be the old we can’t guarantee his safety nonsense like big Sutton got and then what ? the only sensible solution play their games behind closed doors it’s not that far fetched a scenario
Celtic 1st Celtic forever
HH
I used to work with ex first class refereee in scotland .now in his 70’s whose claim to fame wax that he had never given a penalty against rangers. He came frkn Lanarkshire. Nor much changed in sco football in 50 years
Hail Hail
Please just keep beating rangers.
Just for accuracy a handball doesn’t need to be deliberate to forfeit a penalty, maybe if you are going to comment on the game it might be an idea to understand the rules. Just saying.
That’s why I said the incident was open to interpretation.
When are Celtic FC ‘suits’ going to stand up and be counted ? We all know that the Rangers are having a hissy fit with the ‘blazers ‘ at Hampden , but the indirect inclusion of Celtic as part of the bitching and moaning has to be addressed by our senior officials . It will turn into another ‘no fans ‘ fiasco initiated from Ibrox land but end up with Celtic receiving all the snide headlines if we don’t stand our ground . May the best team win !
Eric, if you think that was ball to hand then you need to go to the referees’ sponsor Specsavers, I was convinced when I saw it would be given as it looked deliberate to me. All of this though is irrelevant because if VAR give it then they’ve got to go to the Attacking Phase of Play (APP) which would’ve picked up the offside, which in turn negates the penalty, which means that it couldn’t ever have been a penalty at any point in the game. Mark Wilson summed it up beautifully on Clyde 1 SSB tonight that Ibrox were deflecting from how badly they played, this non-decision never caused them to lose the Glasgow derby the players did, now I don’t listen to that show but I was sent it by a mate. Wilson I’ve got no time for but he got this spot on it’s the go to situation every time they lose blame controversial decisions or the governing bodies or VAR but it’s never their fault. They never accept responsibility and until they do and try and buy better players they’ll remain what they’ve been since their 2012 inception “perennial losers.” If they were in a raffle and bought every ticket they’d still find a way to lose and blame everybody else for it instead of owning it. It’s why they can’t stop telling the survival and same club lies because they can’t own what happened to them and what they brought on themselves. The dead Rangers 1872-2012 pulled off the biggest cheating scandal in sporting history and ran the club into the ground and how not one person ended up in jail astounds me. “The peepul” don’t live in reality they’re based in a fantasy world where they never died and are still the same club despite the whole world knowing the truth, the facts don’t lie and if you can’t be honest with yourself then your word means nothing. That’s what TRIFC are nothing, absolute nobodies who’ve won three trophies in their 11 year existence, we’ve won 10 League Titles 6 Scottish Cups and 7 League Cups in that time. They’re all delusional but they’re only deluding themselves because they’re a joke to the rest of the world and we know they all know that too.
