With the season just finishing, and it’s two disastrous transfer windows now in the past, I decided to take a look at 20 of our Scottish signings over the years.
There seems to be an allergy lately on Celtic’s part when it comes to signing Scottish players these days, and it makes you wonder who the next homegrown talent to sign for Celtic will be.
David Turnbull was the last Scottish player of note to join the club, so it will be interesting to see if the club looks at any homegrown talent in the upcoming transfer window.
Celtic have had hundreds of Scottish players on their books over the years, with some not exactly making their mark at Parkhead.
Today’s picture quiz is all about some of them, so I’ve tasked you with putting names to faces on 20 forgotten players, with three options to choose from.
