Ibrox fans don’t just hate Celtic, they hate EVERYONE and ANYONE. Their behaviour towards Inverness Caley Thistle is a perfect example of that…

Most level headed, normal, and sane football supporters are extremely sympathetic towards the current plight of Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
Nobody, and I mean nobody in their right mind wants to see any football club go under.
Except, of course, for one group of supporters.
A group who seem to be taking some sort of sadistic pleasure in the pain Inverness and their supporters are going through.
This group feels that every club in the SPL in 2012 who voted against their old club’s re-instatement to the top flight is fair game.
That includes us naturally, we are always fair game.
The grudge they bear against us is different though, it’s embedded in decades of hatred.
But that’s not what I want to discuss today.
I want to discuss the fact that Inverness Caledonian Thistle could be hours away from going in administration.
This is according to an article in the Inverness Courier this morning.
It will be a sad day for Scottish football if that happens.
But for Ibrox supporters, it will be a day of celebration, because they will believe that what is happening to Inverness is karma.
This is their warped view of this situation.
Inverness Caledonian Thistle are getting their just rewards for voting against their old club remaining in the top flight 12 years ago.
They believe that Inverness played a part in the liquidation of the old club.
Of course they wouldn’t admit that, because to admit that would mean they accept they are a new club.
They will tell you that they got relegated to the bottom tier of Scottish League football.
Which we all know is bullshit.
Earlier this morning, Joe McHugh published a very interesting article over on Videocelts.
In it, he states that Ibrox fans have put more effort into killing Inverness Caledonian Thistle than they did into saving their own club in 2012.
Let that sink in.
This is how narrow minded, bitter, spiteful and nasty these fans are.
The fact that a former Ibrox hero is the manager of ICT does not matter a damn, they’re fair game.
They deserve what’s coming to them.
They are so thick, so braindead, and unwilling to accept any kind of accountability for the demise of their old club, that they actually believe it is the fault of the 10 clubs who voted against reinstating them in the SPL.
So now, revenge for them is sweet.
So sweet, that they booked up free tickets for a public meeting that was organised for Inverness fans to discuss a future and possible options for their ailing club.
As Joe McHugh said in his article, if only they had put as much effort into saving their own club from liquidation.
Of course, they did nothing wrong.
Everybody was out to get them.
They didn’t cheat on an industrial scale.
Nor did they cheat their beloved queen out of her fair share of taxes.
They didn’t, at one point, field an entire first eleven that comprised ineligible, incorrectly registered players.
It was Celtic’s fault for being too good that they did that.
It was the only way they could compete with us.
Like I said, no self accountability whatsoever.
Instead of trying to blame everybody else for their impending demise, maybe they should have put more effort into actually saving their club?
You know?
Just like Motherwell, Dundee, Hearts, Partick Thistle and Livingston did?
They had more fans than those five clubs put together just through attending games at Ibrox, yet they couldn’t muster the ability to even call a public meeting to discuss saving their club?
Instead, they just lashed out at everyone else, blaming everyone and anyone for their predicament.
And they’re still at it.
After the horse had bolted from the stable, they set up the R*****s fighting fund, managing to raise only £600,000.
£600,000.
So, to put that into perspective, Ibrox holds 50,000 fans.
If every one of those 50,000 fans had donated just £20, they could have raised £1,000,000.
If they had donated £50 towards their beloved club, £2,500,000 could have been raised.
That’s half of what Charles Green bought the basket of assets for.
Now, I’m only discussing the amount of fans it takes to fill Ibrox.
Since we’re led to believe they have a huge, worldwide fanbase, could you imagine if they’d ALL pooled their resources together what they could have come up with?
Yet they couldn’t do that.
If they’d had one leader amongst them, with any kind of business brain, they could have easily raised enough for the fans to buy the basket of assets for the £5 million asking price Charles Green got it for.
Instead, they just demanded a Sugar Daddy came along and fixed everything for them.
And today, they are so spiteful, so vengeful, and full of hatred, that they’ve tried to thwart attempts by Inverness fans to save their own club.
Just because Inverness Caledonian Thistle did not want them competing in the SPL 12 years ago after they had cheated on an industrial scale.
Since they couldn’t accept accountability for their actions, the rest of the clubs in the SPL at that time made them accountable.
They actually blocked ICT fans from attending a meeting to save their club.
That’s how deep rooted their hatred is for anyone out-with their narrow minded world view.
The plight of ICT is a concern for all of Scottish football.
They should not just become another name, consigned to the history books like Gretna.
The SFA did everything in their power to ensure an Ibrox entity of any kind participated in Scottish football.
If they’d had their way, nothing would have changed and Rangers 1872 would have just continued on playing in the top flight.
But the clubs would not stand for that, and rightly so.
Because Rangers 1872 trampled all over sporting integrity in the Scottish game, and the rest of Scottish football was not willing to accept that.
If you ask me, the Ibrox club got off lightly, but that’s a story for another day, and one that has been discussed ad-nauseam.
Inverness Caledonian Thistle did not cheat.
Their crime?
Poor financial management.
Yes, there are penalties for that, and maybe they’ll suffer those penalties.
But just as it was in the SFA’s interests in 2012 to ensure any kind of Ibrox entity played in Scottish football, then should it not be in their interests to ensure that ICT continue to compete in Scottish football?
Is that not how it should work?
It is, but it’s not.
No doubt the SFA will be on hand to ensure ICT suffer to the letter of the rules of Scottish football.
While Ibrox fans gleefully watch on, revelling in the fact they disrupted the campaign to save the highland club.
Scottish football is made a bitter shithole cesspit by those fans.
They hate EVERYONE and ANYONE.
They’re too blind to see karma is getting them this season, though.
Let’s hope by the time their 2024 accounts are released, karma will be well on the way to killing them.
Because that’s all their bitterness and hate deserves.
Wishful thinking on my part, I’m sure.

rangers new club got of lightly as you say. They should have been made to pay money to the clubs who could have been in Europe and weren’t able to compete because of a cheating club who say they have 55 trophies but we all know it isn’t true.

The real sex crime was Desmond screwing the fans and not pursing legal avenues against the league and the huns to have it on record they are a new club. (and should have started in the lowland league at best. (Instead of nulifying a whole season for lowland and highland league clubs that played a season with the prize being a play off to get in the 4th tier.) and strip the old club of all titles they stole.
Instead we have to listen to these mouth breathing orcs pushing the continuation lie and claiming they are the most successful club in the world.

The difference is simple: 1 club had the good fortune of a fan with integrity, the means to satisfy an overdraft facility to the bank and the knowledge of how to run a company. The other club scammed and conned their way through the “for every £5 we’ll spend a tenner” years then when the piper needed to be paid, no-one with any integrity stepped forward (cue Craig Whyte, stage left).

The issue of the uneducated has always been a stubborn failure to accept the reality of the facts. As Leigh Griffiths beautifully put it to one of the new club’s fans inside Glasgow Airport as he tried to “outwit” Leigh, “your team’s deid mate”!
A simple fact that until realized will always have this new club of theirs chasing shadows and falsehoods.
It’s a shame they missed school that day!
Just a thought could the Celtic Foundation not set up a fund let’s call it
“The Banter Years” a small donation of £5
to go towards helping ICT during their troubled times. 50 thousand season ticket holders at parkhead a fiver each could easily raise £250,000. Thousands more worldwide could quite possibly raise upwards to half a million. This would cause the Ibrokes faithful to go into a meltdown of apocalyptic proportions thus the banter years will continue on. I for one will quite happily pay a fiver for that.

The Club 1872 supporters realise fine well cheating went on and were quite happy to accept it as long as it was working for them. Thier Club 1872 is dead and they know it. ICT shouldn’t get any help from sfa etc and when rifc go tits up they shouldn’t either. Kick em out if the supporters want to support a club find a new one that’s not a reincarnation of old one. Plenty highland clubs, Ross county well run and doing well.

He should spend more time practicing his grammar than criticising people who take the time to read his articles.

Alright Derek, since you’re the expert here, and I’m so shite at what I do, give me some examples of my grammatical errors. School me, since I so badly need it. Give me examples of my grammatical errors and I will endeavour to be more thorough in my future articles, and it’ll all be down to you. Oh, and for the record, I would love to see the entity that plays out of Ibrox die, here are my reasons:
1. They cheated on an industrial scale
2. They didn’t pay their taxes when every other club in Scottish football at least attempted to
3. They are a sectarian cesspit, which discriminated against a religious group until 1989
4. They cannot live within their means
5. They cheated many other clubs outside Celtic out of trophies, and money for possible European qualification
6. Their fans are wishing that a club which did nothing other to than call them out on their cheating goes under
I could go on, but I don’t have time. Finally, are you a Celtic supporter? If not, why are you hanging around on this site?
