While Ibrox fans will celebrate Clement’s sacking, Celtic fans will celebrate the reality that we are playing Bayern Munich tonight

Such contrasting fortunes between Celtic and the Ibrox side.

Celtic fans will be celebrating the fact that they are playing Bayern Munich in the Champions League knock-out stages.

Ibrox fans will celebrate like they’ve won the league if Clement is sacked before the week is out.

Then they’ll harangue their board to bring in serial loser, Steven Gerrard.

A serial loser of a manager to take over a bunch of serial losers.

You couldn’t make it up.

It’s like Turkey’s voting for Christmas.

Every so often, I take a look at some of the Ibrox blogs.

Ibrox Noise is one in particular that displays it’s writer has the brain capacity of your average Ibrox fan.

It’s a site that presumes to know everything, when in fact it know sweet f*** all.

The writer, whose parents seem to have actually christened him Ibrox Noise, has an inability to write any more than 300 words in his blogs..

Unlike us Celtic bloggers, Ibrox doesn’t seem to want give his real name.

God only knows why…

But anyway, I’m rambling a bit here.

Yesterday, Ibrox gave eager fans this headline:

‘Change is coming’ as R*****s sources claim Clement sacking imminent

So, who could the sources possibly be?

Well here’s what Ibrox himself had to say:

It has been claimed today that R*****s are about to part company with Philippe Clement with online rumours alleging that we are about to see ‘change’.

The under pressure R*****s manager hit a new law at the weekend with a dire result against Queens Park and subsequent call for him to go.

So, the under pressure manager hit a new law?

What kind of law could that be?

The law of averages that dictates that because the Ibrox side is so shite, they’re going to have a diabolical result every five games or so?

I don’t know, maybe Ibrox will enlighten me?

And as for the claims coming from sources?

Well, you’ll have to take Ibrox’s word on that one, since no details are provided for either the claims or the source.

But Ibrox seems to have his finger on the pulse.

Apparently, according to him, it’ll only cost a cool million to pay off Clement:

He confirmed to fan media that he would not be resigning which leaves only sacking as an option but as Ibrox Noise has explained this is certainly not a cheap option.

However, it has been claimed by some media outlets that the cost to sack Clement would in fact only be just over £1 million. 

I suppose sources told him that?

In this informative article, Ibrox tells us that somebody alleged it would cost £7 million to pay off the Belgian Maestro.

No idea where he got that info from, but recently some media outlets said it would cost around £4.5 million.

See what I did there?

I decided to use Ibrox’s trick, and say what I believe to be true.

It’s no wonder they’re all so gullible over there when in blogging circles they’ve got Ibrox feeding them all their news.

The end of his article is a masterpiece though:

This is quite a drop from the alleged 7 million or so that we were led to believe. 

Have Rangers found a solution? A mutual consent compromise that will free us from this nightmare?

As for trying to claim you’re a blogger by writing an article that comprises seven sentences, with no sources whatsoever to back up your claims, well mate, that’s called stealing a wage.

A no name non-entity who doesn’t even attempt to write anything worth reading.

Then again, I suppose he’s delivering to his target audience.

Anything more than seven sentences would be very challenging for the klanbase.

Well, while we’re celebrating a Champions League knock-out night under the lights, you’ll all be hoping to celebrate the departure of big Phil.

And while we’re going for a treble, you guys will be celebrating the winning the “Sack Philippe Cup”.
