So, cocky Ibrox fans seem to think that we’re all quaking in our boots as a result of the impending Ibrox takeover by the San Francisco 49ers?
You know?
The takeover that everybody is talking about, but isn’t really talking about?
Except for the media and gullible Ibrox fans.
Because, in reality, there has been very little comment from either the Ibrox club or their prospective buyers in the last couple of weeks.
Since Keith Jackson returned from holidays, he’s re-ignited all of the gossip.
But that’s really all it has been, gossip.
The Ibrox fans are lapping it up, and fantasizing about the likes of Jose Mourinho, or Rafa Benitez becoming their next manager.
This is what happens over there, they get swept away in a frenzy when something like this happens.
Losing their grip on reality in the process.
The SMSM, of course, are only too happy to feed the frenzy.
With Keith Jackson at the forefront of this lunacy.
The idea that we’re terrified of this is risible.
On Monday, they were hoping it will be their “Fergus McCann” moment, totally oblivious to the fact it has taken Celtic over 30 years to find ourselves where we are now.
A perfect example of how braindead their support is, is the fact they think the SF 49ers takeover will usher in that Sugar Daddy they’ve always dreamt of.
What they also seem to have completely airbrushed from their memories is the fact they already had a billionaire in Mike Ashley in the building back in 2015.

And guess what?
That billionaire had just managed to get the Ibrox club to a self-sustainable level, and they didn’t like that.
Living within their means is anathema to the Ibrox klanbase.
What they seem to want to completely ignore is the fact that this is exactly what their new prospective owners will most likely want to do too.
Shock of shocks, they might not like that either.
If this takeover goes ahead, they should be the ones terrified, not us.
If we weren’t terrified when Mike Ashley had a controlling interest in their club, we sure as hell won’t be terrified now, will we?
So, this notion that we’re terrified is as hilarious as it is stupid.
It’s hilarious because they have done nothing but lurch from disaster to disaster since they crawled out of the grave of the old club.
The reason they’ve done this is because sanity does not prevail at Ibrox.
49ers Enterprises will attempt to impose sanity on them, but in doing so they might find themselves on the end of another Off Licence Putsch.
Who knows?
And it’s stupid because stupidity reigns supreme amongst that support.
We’ll just sit back and enjoy the show.
I have no doubt Keith Jackson will elevate himself to legendary status with his excellent reportage.
Just like he did with the Bellshill billionaire.

Give it a year and the klanbase will be begging the old directors to come back.
They’ll realise how good they had it when those guys had such deep pockets.
Meanwhile, I’m off to watch Jose Mourinho fillet Bazza.
Fun times.
The amount of articles you have dedicated to this you would give a fair impression to any lurkers that you are scared.
I wonder what reaction there will be when they realise that the owner of SF 49ers is a catholic and the real power behind this takeover 🤣🤣🤣
Is that them coming. AGAIN!!
Your off to watch Mourinho fillet Bazza, are you🤡
The only reason this is being touted is for season ticket sales. Why would 49rs invest big on a Scottish football team? If they were Rangers men then yes go for it but they’re not and don’t have anything to sell to the support. Be careful what you wish for and never forget Whyte.
If only read Celtic would actually read something about Celtic then maybe you wouldn’t be the utter jokes of European football you truly are these days. 49ers group see Rangers European potential currently ranked 26th in Europe and going for a 3rd European final in 17 years. No one is interested in buying a Celtic a silly little provincial club who’s only ambition is to finish above Rangers.
So I’m guessing you just missed the CL campaign just finished then?
This is all pie in the sky set to appease the bears until such times as the season tickets are sold.
Why would anyone want to invest in the most debt ridden and worst run club in Scotland let alone savvy businessmen who have no affiliation with Rangers or their mentality.
Even if they eventually do they will have no hesitation in pulling the plug on the Glasgow 13ers (2012).
Tesco still monitoring the site.
Where did the 17 year’s come from….your team was conceived in 2012…Uefa didn’t grant you a license until 2018….prior to that you’ve no European entry?.?
Do you mean deadco.rangers…the diffrent team that got liquidated?
Go check your European licence and when you got it…also check the registration…its diffrent from deadco rfc…
BTW….your not getting to any final this year….the Tim clubs that await you will see to that should you.get past fenerbace this round…which you probably will….
