Did Celtic learn any lessons yesterday? You would hope so at this point!

The third time in a row that they’ve scored 3 goals against us, and this time at Celtic Park.
The Scottish media is rejoicing today, and they have their new darling in Barry Ferguson.
There’s no doubting he’s put himself in strong contention for the manager’s role on a full time basis after yesterday.
As for Brendan Rodgers?
He has to be smarting today, he has to be.
Owned at Celtic Park by a rookie manager, using the same tactics his predecessor used in the previous two fixtures against us.
And achieving the same results.
Yesterday has to be a low point in Brendan Rodgers’ managerial career.
Because I’m sure he didn’t believe that was possible.
I know it doesn’t mean much in the overall scheme of things, but it’s the way in which it happened that’s hard to swallow.
If it’s hard for me to swallow, then it’s got to be hard for the manager to swallow.
We did a podcast this morning to discuss the whole game, and it’s pretty raw to say the least.
We didn’t hide our feelings on this one.
I’m not much in the mood to discuss things any further than I already have in the podcast.
So, taking into consideration today is St. Patrick’s day, I’m going to go and celebrate my Irishness, and try and forget about yesterday’s result.
Instead, I’ll let the podcast do the talking.

One of the main reasons for defeat for me , was that Celtic played like ballet dancers and the tribute act played like brickies on a building site ! There is no physical strength in midfield , especially ! Timidness against thrusting …guess which was which ? There is no ‘ killer instinct ‘ .. anywhere ! I understand nobody wants to sound and look arrogant and over confident beforehand , for obvious reasons . But if any Celtic player attempts to perform like a pampered part timer in a Glasgow derby game , every time , then he is in the wrong sport for a start ! It’s
” kill or be killed ” metaphorically speaking !
I was watching the game on TV here in Thailand and obviously hoping for an equalizer. there were subtitutions on both sides, one player in the opposition faking injury for a while.
I was that stuck on the game I never looked to see how many minutes of extra time was given, but it did not seem like much.
See what I’m getting at here? Who was in the VAR again?
Another unacceptable performance. League done or not, that’s not how you perform for a home crowd. It’s on Rodgers again, I said that last time. Yang should have started, Kuhn’s been a passenger for weeks. Playing not to get injured for his big Summer move. Hatate has to go in the Summer too. The inconsistency is intolerable now, the goal covered a lot of his cracks. Neither he nor McCowan won a tackle all game. We need a far more robust and solid midfield for these games, too easy to press and play through. Rodgers needs to wake back up to this fixture.
It will happen again in the next game at Ibrox. We cannot match their aggression and power with the squad we have. Brendan has no plan B. They know we set up the same every game and they will run all over us again.
