Oh the irony, and the hilarity! Ibrox fans on Follow Follow are having a full meltdown after reading Keith Jackson’s article in the Record this evening.
They’re even calling the paper that’s solely dedicated to them, the Daily Rebel!
You couldn’t make this up.
They actually believe that the Record is a pro-Celtic newspaper!
I mean, how thick can you actually get?
Keith Jackson spends the majority of his professional writing career writing about his favourite team- the Ibrox side – and THEY think he’s writing for a pro-Celtic paper?
The same paper that was so desperate to create a story about Celtic missing out on Kwame Poku, they actually rang Peterborough’s Barry Fry to find out if Celtic had declared any interest in the player.
Just so they could say Celtic lost out to the Ibrox side in the ‘race’ to sign whizz-kid Poku.
This evening over on Follow Follow, they’re shooting the messenger.
As in poor Keith Jackson.
Just because he’s after breaking an ‘exclusive’ on John Souttar’s injury status.
Now, obviously they’re pissed off at the fact Souttar will still be recovering from the recent surgery he underwent in London for a persistent hernia issue.
But the main reason they’re having a meltdown is because they reckon Souttar values his international career more than he does his career at Ibrox.

Since he chose to play two meaningless friendlies instead of undergoing surgery when the season ended.
Get a load of this:

He needs booted up and down the length of Edmiston Drive?
They actually want Souttar gone, which is hilarious.
And they reckon it’s amateur hour from the club?
Tell us something new.

They really are the gift that keeps on giving.
Just when I thought we were having a boring summer, this happens to brighten up my day.
One commenter said the Ibrox club was ‘a bin fire’.
While another reckons the ‘whole club should be sacked for allowing this to happen’.
Talk about overreacting to a situation, or what?
I wasn’t kidding when I said they were having a meltdown.
Then again, that’s all they ever do over there, have meltdowns.
Jackson goes on to tell all the happy bears more meltdown inducing news towards the end of his article:
That means the only fit recognised centre backs currently at Martin’s disposal are Robin Propper, Clinton Nsiala, Ben Davies and Leon King.
Propper is on the brink of a return to Holland after just one season in Scotland having agreed terms with FC Twente. Nsiala was used fleetingly as a fringe man during his own difficult first campaign at Ibrox.
And Davies and King were farmed out on loan to Birmingham and Queens Park respectively after falling out of the first team picture.
It’s no wonder they want to shoot the messenger!
Jackson and the ‘Daily Rebel’ are doom and gloom merchants.
Only yesterday he said Russell Martin would have to be part magician, part miracle worker.

Can he magic a decent centre-back to be ready in time to face Panathanaikos?
It wasn’t supposed to be like this.
Amateur hour was supposed to be over at Ibrox.
Dream on guys, amateur hour has a while to run over there yet!
Meanwhile, we Celtic fans will lap it up!
That name James came up with up on last night’s podcast looks better and better.
ACME F.C.
This is going to be a fun summer methinks.
Last night’s podcast – Rise Of The Robot Bloggers, don’t worry, we discussed the Ibrox side too.
BEEP BEEP
from the road runner
🦤
Rushing out a hotline video to make sure he gets it out there that he believes the decision to let Soutar keep playing for Scotland was made after his wee pal Barry was shown the door , then putting the blame on Dr Doom who’s retiring soon
The fly c*nt
This is like the pathetic carryon last season when they had to delay the start of the season due to running out of fkn steel…What is it with them, now no decent Centre half for European games,,if you can say he’s a proper centre half,,bit of a 🫏🫏..💩💩💩
Hee Haw Hee Haw Hee Haw.
Donkey Squad 👻☠️
HERE WE GO AGAIN,FACEPAINTER,WE WILL PAY SOME DAY,ONCE WE PAY THE PAPERMAN AND THE ROLL MAN,AND THE CHURCH FOR THE WATER WE USED WITHOUT PERMISSION!
The gift that keeps giving ha ha a wee sideline Celtic women are a shambles released under 17 coach because they said he was to ambitious went to Glasgow city an Celtic an rangers haven’t beaten them
You actually read their madness on Swallow Swallow?
It is admittedly funny at times, with their cash raising suggestion of getting Dado Prso in to walk around ‘the ladies hair salons at Ibrox’ in 2015 a personal favourite, but really, Eric, you’ll damage your eyes spending too much time over there.
Besides, we don’t care what the animals say …
