  1. stop moaning about it . That’s what Charlie mulgrew is saying in media today singing the boards praises . It’s worth a read if you want your blood pressure going up .

  2. It has never been a problem for the club playing at out of Ibrox to spend money. Yes even money that they don’t have like The tax payers money. You must remember that Eric.
I have not been in pressed t with their performances to date. I guess time will tell.
A question was asked of you a couple of articles ago “how do you sack the board” It was never answered and it should be because it is thrown about so often.
I believe the screaming bloggers negatives and aligned with the MSM is not the way but that the Celtic Trust has the answer. You just have to keep at it a little bit at a time and you will have success.

  3. The tribute act have signed 2 so called strikers who scored less than the fingers on my hand last season an sold 2 that had over 30 between them I have no worries about losing games but winning them come the season end Celtic will b champions sack the board

  4. I don’t think it’s just rangers that’ll be putting in a bigger challenge. I can see hearts under McKinnes giving us problems . Brendan is going to have to manage the players with injuries and suspensions . If we are in contention at Christmas , then we have a fighting chance but there’s going to have to be a rethink by the powers that be in getting a few strikers in by early January . There’s going to be a lot of dropped points by all and a lot of scrappy one goal wins if we are lucky . That’s what I’m expecting. #sack the board

  5. I’m sorry Eric but as much as I agree with you on most things, the part about not caring what happens in Belgrade is a bit much. Yes I would love to have seen us in the Champions league I’m very much looking forward to seeing how we get on in the Europa league. If that shower can get to finals and knockouts consistently then surely we can do the same if not better. And if we win it we’re straight into the Champions league next season so no pesky qualifiers needed. HH

  6. How very dare you Sir! How very dare you!! You cleverly omit some important facts. Our Board has fantastically supported the objectives of the business and have equalled the same nett figure as Sevco have, how very dare you omit this fact!! I mean Yes, if you’re splitting hairs, they have a nett spend of £20million whereas Celtic, God bless our owner and our custodians, have a nett profit of £20m but the figures are the same!

  7. I agree Eric the ibrox board have shown ambition and I believe they will win the league as this Celtic side is the worst since the early 90s. The club statement is an absolute joke also. Nicholson is an incompetent fool and lawwell has been there too long and offers nothing. I sincerely hope that the fans don’t buy a single EL ticket and that boardroom leches who are bleeding our club dry leave asap. #sack the board.

  8. Can you show us any tangible evidence that Sevco have spent £35 million this summer, Eric?

Other than Daily Record reports ..?

    And that’s spelt ‘Augur’.

    Cheers.

  9. Eric, I’ve asked on Celtic Blog & Video Celts too but is the podcast only available on youtube now?
Usually listen on podcast platform at work the next day. Hopefully it’s just an error & get back to being able to listen weekly

    1. I was on holidays and I’m the admin for the podcast. I’m just back now, so I’ll upload it onto Apple and Spotify this evening and you’ll be able to pick it up there.
