Nobody expected Celtic to get anything out of it and with the world watching on, Celtic came out of the traps and hit City with all they had.

The atmosphere at Celtic Park does that to you sometimes and even the best sides can struggle to come to terms with it.

It was a fair result in the finish, but nothing could take away from the spectacle we witnessed that night.

On the bench, though, interestingly enough, there was a young 18 year old substitute by the name of Kelechi Iheanacho.

He didn’t get to play that night, but he would get to play, and score in the corresponding away fixture at the Etihad the following December.

Iheanacho showed us what balls he has with his penalty kick last Sunday at Rugby Park.

Let’s hope we see much more of that from him in the coming season.
