Celtic and Europe are a funny old mix.
The first British club to lift the European Cup, and many memorable campaigns since, with a few absolute stinkers thrown into the mix too!
There has been talk of the Lisbon Lions again recently, with snooker player, John Higgins, highlighting the difficulties in raising the finance to facilitate a statue of the legendary Tommy Gemmell.
Tommy is, of course, the only Celtic player to have scored in two European Cup finals.
A feat that will most likely never be achieved again.
With a history of dominance domestically, Hoops managers will often find themselves judged by their success on the continental stage but how well you remember Celtic’s European escapades?
