Julian Araujo – “Everybody was giving me kisses, one of the the craziest moments of my life”. The Celtic right back fervently acknowledges the 12th man

I think its safe to say that if Julian Araujo didn’t know what it means to play for Celtic before Sunday, he certainly does now.

He is never going to forget that crazy scenes and the experience of running into the Celtic fans after scoring the winner late into stoppage time against Kilmarnock.

Araujo himself says that its a moment he’ll never forget for the rest of his life.

He said that in all his time playing football, he’s never experienced scenes like those he saw on Sunday afternoon.

As I said in yesterday’s article, there’s a good chance that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain didn’t either.

Or Tomáš Čvančara, for that matter.

Many people didn’t seem to notice, but as soon as he saw the ball hit the roof of the net, he jumped into the Chadwick End as well.

It was a moment where the players and the team became one.

With both entirely caught up in the ecstasy of that winning goal.

But it also highlighted the importance of the 12th man for this Celtic team.

Something the Celtic board has actively denied the team up to this point.

We are now headed into one of the most important title run ins in years.

The players need the 12th man, and they need Celtic Park to be packed to the rafters with fans as vociferous as the 4,000 we saw at Rugby Park.

Only the Celtic board can rectify this.

It is time to let the Green Brigade back into Celtic Park.

Ibrox was packed to the rafters for the Hearts game, with Ibrox fans boasting about how well they support their team in the aftermath.

They’re constantly harping on about being the best fans in Britain.

But we know the only reason they’re doing this.

Its because they see what’s going on at Celtic Park, and they see it as a point scoring opportunity.

The Ibrox fans think because we’re not filling our stadium, that it automatically makes them the best fans in the UK because they are.

Yet, they were staging mass walkouts at the start of this season.

They were half filling the stadium in protest of Russell Martin being their manager.

It was fine for them to do it back then.

But when we do it, they constantly harp on about how loyal they are, and how they’re filling Ibrox.

Which, in reality, shows us just how stupid they are, and hypocritical.

Especially when you consider they did the exact same thing earlier this season.

But once again, the board has left us wide open for this kind of idiotic ridicule.

They need to put Celtic first for these last 12 games.

Brian Wilson needs to either deliver the unity he keeps talking about, or shut up about it if he has no intention of doing so.

Get it sorted and lets have a full stadium behind the team for this title run in.

We’ve talked often enough about this board sabotaging the club.

Banning the Green Brigade is just another facet of that.

Its time to lift the ban.

Its time to give Celtic the best possible chance to win this title.
