Yesterday’s result at Ibrox was a huge morale booster for Celtic, there’s no doubt about that.
While we might not have bagged all the points, coming back from 2-0 down swings the psychological pendulum for next weekend well into Celtic’s favour.
The Ibrox side thought they had it wrapped up at half-time, and their second half performance seemed to reflect that.
They allowed Celtic back into the game, and ultimately paid the price.
They have also paid the price on social media, as the online pisstakes went into overdrive in the aftermath of the game.
There really are some Celtic comedic geniuses out there, and it shows how we are so much better than them when it comes to taking the piss.
They just can’t seem to put together the level of hilarity Celtic fans can.
This was brilliantly encapsulated in the below X post:

It came from Brennanbhoy’s account.
I’m not sure if he created it himself, but if he did, chapeau to him on a piece of ingenious comedy.
Now, we all know that John Beaton was distraught at having to award a penalty to Celtic yesterday.
You could see it in his face as he reviewed the footage on the VAR monitor.
There’s no doubt that Steven McLean was probably sobbing through his earpiece as well when he instructed him to go and look at the replay.

But for someone to take that, and create a video like the one in that X post, along with the hilarious theme music to tune of Cheers, was nothing short of brilliant.
“The Louden” could, and should, be going viral.
I’ve done my bit in promoting it, but I’d suggest you share it far and wide for all Celtic fans to see.
I don’t know if AI is a curse or a blessing sometimes.
But to be able to do something like this, well, that justifies it’s existence for me!
You’ll never see the Ibrox fans coming up with something as good as this.
No doubt, they’ll try and claim Chermiti’s goal yesterday as the best derby goal ever.
It might have been if they won the game, but they didn’t.
That opened the door for them to have the ever-living mickey taken out of them in the aftermath of the final whistle!
It shows that we never forget a moment in time, just like that one back in December 2018.
Brennanbhoy ensured it came back to haunt the huns.
Genius, absolute genius!
Really really well done that man for sticking it to them with great humour lol…you’ve gotta laugh at them.
On a more serious note: how sad and tragic is it that in a ‘sport’ that officials are so obviously and visibly upset at having to apply the laws of the game fairly?
Some of their nutty fans are even saying it was corrupt to award us a penalty.
If they were Americans, they’d definitely belong in the Donald J Trumpstein camp.
Absolutely, Superb. Nothing more fun than using there own prejudices against them.
