Peter Levin doesn’t like Celtic.
We’ve always known that, but what we’ve never really known is the full extent of his dislike for Celtic.
Its been talked about a fair bit in the Trinity Tims podcast, and it was once again to the forefront of our minds last night.
Our game against Aberdeen was at best, a scrappy affair.
I’ve given plenty of coverage of the fallout from our second goal in two articles earlier on today.
It was clearly evident that Peter Levin was very angry at the final whistle.
His curt handshake with Celtic boss Martin O’Neill told us that much.

But the extent of Levin’s hatred for Celtic goes a lot deeper than curt handshakes.
That’s for sure.
Now, we know that Levin was on Rangers 1872’s books for 4 years from 2000 until 2004.
So, one doesn’t need to be a genius to figure out where his allegiances lie.
He went on to have a pretty low profile career after not kicking a ball in a meaningful game at Ibrox.
Levin played for such giants of the game as Jarrow Roofing BCA, Oxford United, MK Dons, Chesterfield, and Kilmarnock.
He has been caretaker manager of the Dons on three occasions.
Needless to say, he was livid after Celtic’s winning goal was scored against the Dons.

And it showed in his reaction at the final whistle.
In 11 games in charge of Aberdeen, Leven has managed to lose 7 of them.
Doesn’t exactly scream Scottish Premiership managerial quality, especially at a side as big as Aberdeen, does it?
As usual, Celtic fans reveled in the despair of an Ibrox facing coach in the aftermath of the game.
Social media was once again full of fun and games.
But one particular post stood out to me on X.
It was pretty revealing, and told us exactly how deep Levin’s dislike of Celtic runs.
Have a look at the post below:

Now, anybody who says if they were in charge of the country, that their first priority would be to dissolve Celtic, followed by the SFA, clearly has their priorities up their arse.
The SFA part I can understand.
But when the first priority that comes to mind is the dissolution of Celtic, then you know exactly what Levin thinks of Celtic.
Granted, he said that back in 2013.
At the time, everybody of an Ibrox persuasion believed Celtic and Peter Lawwell were behind the demise of the now dead club.
So clearly, Levin’s first priority was revenge, and the dissolution of the club he hates most.
Ah well, isn’t it desperate he didn’t get his wish?
And that Celtic were there to pile more misery on him last night?
I can see why that second goal really got to him.
Couldn’t have happened to a nicer fella, though.
Don’t you think?
Another Bastard Bigot who sat back and watched 1872 huns get LIQUIDATED. Inject these bastards into ma veins. They will be hurting till they lie in the grave.
Another one of these ex huns who’s a sh*te coach and everybody knows it
Yet never gets any criticism from the media because he’s a guaranteed lie down when he faces his heroes
Had to beg his Tim colleague from East Kilbride Tony Docherty to come in and help him coach the team for the remaining games of the season.Thats how confident in his own ability he is.
