Oh, but this is luscious, they’re all coming out of the woodwork now and losing their shit because Celtic have gone above them.
Fat Sally is going “Tonto” in the today’s Record, and reckons that Marty Feldman was on VAR.
For those of you of a younger generation, I’ve provided an image of Marty Feldman with the article title for some context.
You get the gist.
It would be laughable if it wasn’t so ridiculous.
Its been a while since they’ve lost it this much over a controversial refereeing decision.
But it chimes with the timing, doesn’t it?
We go above them in the table, they have a complete and utter meltdown.
What’s worse is that a compliant media wades in on their behalf.
I didn’t see them wading in to this extent when David Martindale decried the ridiculous decision that denied him a penalty at Ibrox last year?
There has been crazy decision after crazy decision going the Ibrox side’s way this season, but none of them have been given the media coverage Celtic’s second goal last night has been given.
I wrote an article already this morning on this, where I stated the SMSM would wade in big time on this.
And right on cue, there is a plethora of stories on this subject this morning.
It is literally driving anybody of an Ibrox persuasion demented today that Celtic have gone above them in the Scottish Premiership table.

They just cannot handle it.
But you know what the real issue is here, don’t you?
They’re terrified now that Celtic have the platform to push on and win this title.
Then fear is creeping in that there’s a very distinct possibility that they could now finish in third place in this title race.
Third place after spending nearly £50 million this season?
I mean, with all of their calamities down through the years since 2012, this would top them all.
This would be the mother of all fuck ups, and it would make a laughing stock of the Americans.
Celtic are in utter disarray, and this bunch somehow still manage to lose their grip on the title race.
What’s more, is that the realisation will now be dawning on them that Sunday might realistically be their last chance of silverware this season.
Think on that for a minute.
They could end up spending nearly £50 million on a trophyless season.
Almost £50 million for nothing?
Panic could really start to set in at Ibrox on Sunday if they find themselves behind early on.
Martin O’Neill will know this.
A wily old campaigner like him will be totally tuned in to their angst.

He will prey on their anxiety, and if we quieten the Ibrox crowd early on, it could be a very special day.
Especially with the Free Broomloan packed with Celtic supporters.
Mark my words, if we put them to the sword on Sunday, their season will fall asunder after that.
They will crumble.
That’s what makes the fallout from last night all the more enjoyable.
The panic is really start to set in now.
Sunday can’t come quick enough now!
Bring it on!
Eric, you keep banging on about the huns spending £50m. Do you really believe that ? There is no way they spent close to £50m.
Just look at all of their purchases for this season during both windows. It amounts to £48 million. They did bring in £21.5 million on outgoing transfers, But the fact is, they spent £48 million on all of the players they’ve brought in for this season.
I agree with Frank, Govan FC did not spend £50m. A wee bit more in depth research required
3rd? I think Motherwell could take 3rd place, relegating them to 4th
It doesn’t matter what the ragers spent or what they didn’t spend, our team on Sunday cost 6 million yes 6 million our board should not off scot free if we win the league it will be down to Martin O’Neil and not Desmond and his cabal stop giving them your money
I am a cynic. Back in the days of Sir David Murray’s illegal financing via Tax Evasion and unreported unauthorised, bordering on illegal, loans from the Bank of Scotland ( loans of £700m from BOS 🤦♂️ ) I would always cross reference SMSM Laptop Loyal Lapdogs Published Transfer Fees allegedly paid by Rangers with English Media reports. The differences in amounts were stark.
I’m not sure £48m is anywhere near the figure they have spent this season. I can imagine they might be mimicking Fergus when he said Stubbs was £5m.
(£3.5m transfer fee and £1.5m total salary over 4 years) I don’t believe £48m is anywhere near the price Sevco has paid for their incoming players this season….. absolute SMSM nonsense.
Ah but that is the perception the SMSM have now created, so who are we to question it? If they finish this season trophyless, the SMSM’s bleating about their big spending makes them look all the more ridiculous. To be fair, Transfermarkt, which is somewhat accurate in terms of player costings has their spending at £41 million. That is probably close enough, and then you have add ons after that. It is still more than the deid club ever spent in a season. Their record was £36 million.
