In the world we live in today, something very strange has happened when it comes to reporting the truth.
We know the truth is rarely told about Celtic.
We also know that every time the Ibrox side behaves like it did last Sunday, a compliant media tries to equate Celtic’s behaviour to theirs.
This strange phenomenon that we see in the media today is, when you break it down, simply called gaslighting.
By twisting facts, denying events, and shifting blame, the media forces us to doubt our own perception of events.
This is what they are trying to do with the events of last Sunday at Ibrox.
But in Scotland, it is always what they’ve tried to do.
People see through it, but the media still thinks they control the narrative.
Celtic Fan media exposes that narrative for the bullshit it is, day in, day out.

We shine a light on the lies the media continue to be the purveyors of.
But that’s the problem with the media at the moment.
This is not just something that is endemic in Scotland today – its worldwide, the reading public is expected to believe there is, or was, no previous context to what they write.
They want us to forget about history.
What went before.
If you didn’t know the history and the habits of the Ibrox side before today – and you were reading the media’s narrative on Sunday’s events – you’d be led to believe they were never involved in any incidents like those we witnessed on Sunday.
This is what the SMSM does.
They write as if there is no real past or history in Scottish football.
They expect you to believe that the game and it’s behaviours here, especially at Ibrox, are pure as the driven snow.
Referees are not corrupt.
The SFA is fit for purpose.
The Ibrox side is a club that is racially welcoming to everyone, and anyone, and never displays any signs of racial supremacy, bigotry, or sectarianism.
Celtic are evil, the root and cause of all evil in Scottish football.
Everything that is wrong with Scottish football can be laid at Celtic’s doorstep.
The Ibrox club is the establishment club in Scotland, respected worldwide, and loved by all.
I could go on, and on.
This is what you’re expected to believe.
This is how the SMSM tries to gaslight you.
Another way to equate this is to something I heard recently.
Somebody online said that if Donald Trump tells the American people that the US has won the war against Iran, 50% of the American people will believe that to be true.
This is how much they’ve been manipulated and gaslit into believing this man is their saviour, and in constant contact with Jesus.
You’ve got to admire that the most imbecilic, braindead, simpleton to ever occupy the oval office has convinced 50% of the American people that he is their saviour and is going to lead the US out of the wilderness, and into the light.
Don’t you?
The other 50% just look on in disbelief, and call it out for what it is at every turn.
Yet they never actually do anything to stop the madness.
Social media shines a light constantly on the Trump administratration.
People can see it exactly for what it is.
And they just look on, dumbstruck.
As if this is some sort of pantomime they all have a part in, with the orange guy in the Whitehouse entertaining them all as the pantomime villain.
But this pantomime villain is bringing the world economy to it’s knees as a result of his utter insanity.
Yet everybody is standing idly by and allowing it to happen.
The same can be said of Scottish football, and Celtic.
As the biggest club in Scotland, Celtic could enact change if it really wanted to.
The Celtic administration could defend it’s fans and the club’s reputation by speaking out about the vicious lies the media constantly prints about the club and it’s fans, but it chooses not to.
The club could stand up to the constant racial abuse and violence it’s fans and staff are subjected to every time they go to Ibrox, but they don’t.
They could stand up robustly to the ridiculous refereeing decisions our club is subjected to, but they choose not to.
They do nothing to defend our club.
Hence the reason the SMSM feels it has licence and total freedom to write what it wants about our club, and it’s supporters.
They do this because nobody from Celtic ever calls them out on it.

Just as we expected after Sunday’s, the media is attempting to shift the blame for the violence at Ibrox squarely onto the shoulders of the Celtic support.
They are trying to gaslight the reading public into believing that by having the audacity to celebrate an unlikely victory at Ibrox, the Celtic support instigated everything that happened thereafter.
While this narrative is being pushed, its radio silence all the way from Celtic Park and our ballsy board.
Well, at least Keith Jackson thinks they’ve got balls, which I highlighted in my article this morning.
The Celtic support would beg to differ.
Where is the Celtic board’s outcry, and the duty of care towards it’s employees?
Was I mistaken, along with thousands of others, when I saw one of our staff being attacked by an Ibrox supporter?
Where is the outcry about the blood on Tomáš Čvančara’s shirt and how it came to be there?
It is now Tuesday, and the media narrative grows and grows in an attempt portray our support as being part of Scotland’s Shame.
Yet we all know we are not.
We never will be.
But its left to fan media to defend the club, while the board remains silent.
You would almost be led to believe that they seem to be happy with the events of Sunday?
That this might just give them the licence they need to ban the Green Brigade permanently.
One would be forgiven for thinking they are happy with the way our fans are being portrayed by the media.
Then again, they see the fan base as the enemy.
So why would they need to create more ammunition to use against us when they have a compliant media to gaslight everyone into believing that the Celtic support is the problem?
Over to you Silent Mike….
We await your detailed explanation on all of this.
I get the feeling we’ll be waiting for quite some time.
Key Takeaways
- The media uses gaslighting to manipulate perceptions of Celtic and their actions compared to the Ibrox side.
- Celtic fan media exposes the lies propagated by the mainstream media daily, breaking down the false narratives.
- Despite the continuous attacks on Celtic, the club remains silent and does not defend its fans or reputation.
- The mainstream media expects the public to ignore historical context and believe their skewed narratives about the Ibrox side.
- Celtic’s administration could challenge the media’s narrative but chooses not to, reinforcing the negative portrayal of their support.

The narrative, as always is, its Celtic’s fault. They did if first, I’m not condoning the graffiti or the damage to the seats, but, come on a few fans on the park celebrating, it then caused the invasion of the smurf snatchers, hell bent on causing mayhem, armed with poles, flares and whatever else they could carry. Every old has been ex ger rolled out to give the Rangers version of events all angled and staged to abortion the blame on Celtic fans. Hardly any celtic fans got further than the 18 yard line, pretty much like the celtic team during the game. You’d now believe that celtic fans where masked up, attacked, Rangers staff and Got to within 20 yards of the Copland Road stand. This is how its portrayed in the smsm …..its all Celtic fans fault!
Violence committed at Ibrox Park against visitors is as common as it is predictable. If their club cannot ensure the safety of teams, commentators and visitors then they ought to be made to play behind closed-doors.
For every picture of the hundreds of Dafty Bears running about in their gimp masks, there is a picture of that one guy wearing the tricolour balaclava. The message is clear; See! They’re both as bad as each other. Both sets of fans wear masks so don’t you go laying it all at the door of our Rangers, sorry I mean The Rangers. They started it, so they did. Jumping aboot on the pitch taking selfies with the players. What were the Bears supposed to do? Sit and watch that happen?
The sms still call the ragers the same club as the one that was liquidated, the problem is the celtic board will never defend the celtic fans , they are too busy counting the money and patting each other on the back about how little it cost to assemble the team the last count was 6 million , that’s all they care about the bottom line money . Stop giving them your money
The rangers board and the press outlets need to take some blame in this for years rangers fans have been singing their songs, and not one person from the club or the press have come out and condemned it. It’s just brushed under the carpet and don’t mention it. So the fans think they can do anything and they will get away with it, assaulting players and staff, nothing happens to them, they don’t even get banned. If it was racist abuse then that’s a different story everyone is going on about it but if it’s religious it doesn’t matter. It’s time the fans grow up and stop this religious abuse. But we all know the next time it happens nothing will get done about it. Just get the scum out they are not fans there a virus that is growing and there is no cure.

There you are. This f*****g lamenting about Americans doing nothing about Trump or the Celtic Board doing likewise.
Get writing yourselves (so called Celtic
bloggers). As I have stated before, the Israeli government would soon put an end to any of their citizens being persecuted on a regular basis but the Irish one, full of crawlers like English,
Wogan and Holmes, not to mention the thousands of Liverpool, Man U, Man C,
Tottenham, Arsenal (need I go on) but
definitely not Port Vale or Carlisle fans,
are conveniently blind and deaf to it all.
There is NO WAY anyone in Scotland will
end the anti-Irish racism/sectarianism in
this country and sitting on one`s arse behind a keyboard continually, continually, continually lamenting about
it while doing exactly the same as the decrepit Celtic board about it (id est., F -ALL) certainly won`t work.
Better hurry up. I see the stamps are going up in price.
in price.
Eric, a solitary Eunuch has more balls than that entire board.
