After the split, when Celtic play the Ibrox side, they will be allowed their full allocation of away fans at Celtic Park.
Yes, you read that right.
The fanbase that attacked one of our coaches, kicked a Celtic supporter in the head and celebrated it by releasing a t-shirt to commemorate it, and attempted to attack our fans en masse, will be allowed into Celtic Park.
Meanwhile, a section of our own fanbase is still banned indefinitely from Celtic Park.
You won’t find that this section of fans attacked or hurt anyone.
Nor did they fire flares into away fans.
They didn’t attack an opposition coach either.
No, their crime was trying to protect one of their from being rough housed.
The price they’ve paid for that?
A collective punishment that has been in place since last November, with no sign of ending any time soon.
After last Sunday’s events at Ibrox, Celtic fans are going to find it very hard to stomach the Ibrox support being allowed into Celtic Park next May.

Especially if our own fans remain banned.
All of the faux outrage we’ve been subjected to over the last 4 days or so has been a joke.
Banning Ultras from football matches?
Empty talk.
Scottish football cleaning up it’s act?
Bullshit.
Our club has yet to release a statement condemning the actions of Ibrox supporters last Sunday.
Fair enough, if they want to criticise our own fans for the graffiti and damage to the Broomloan end, have at it.

But DO not do that unless you are willing to condemn the fanbase that tried to hurt one of your employees.
Celtic’s majority shareholder is too busy living it up at Cheltenham.
Too busy to comment on the events of last Sunday.
Such trivialities are an inconvenience to the likes of him.
Silent Mike is probably sitting by the phone waiting for instruction on how to handle this whole situation.
Because he’s clearly incapable of handling it himself.
No balls, no backbone, no character.
A Celtic board with no balls in no board at all.
Nicholson will just plough on as if nothing happened last Sunday.
Ignore it all and it’ll go away.
The usual default position with everything.
But make sure to keep our O** F*** partners sweet by allowing their fans in for the next Derby.
Gotta keep them happy.
For 90+ minutes next May, we’ll probably have to listen to them pouring their bile and racist hatred on top of us, while the North Curve remains empty.
Just when you thought this board couldn’t stoop any lower, they do this.
Last Sunday was the perfect opportunity for Scottish football to clean up it’s act.
It was the perfect time for Celtic to lead the way when it comes to change.
Our response?
“Its fine guys, you’re welcome at Celtic Park. You can trash the place too if you like, and you can sing your wonderful ditties to your heart’s content. Just please don’t attack any of our staff.”
The optics of this are horrendous.
Absolutely horrendous.
If the Green Brigade are not back at Celtic Park for that game, the anger amongst the Celtic fanbase will reach hitherto unseen heights.
We have taken a lot up to this point.
But that?
That will be one step too far.
The straw that broke the camel’s back.
Let’s see how Silent Mike spins this one, if he bothers to spin it at all.
We still await a statement.
Would you really be surprised if we didn’t get one?
No?
I didn’t think so.
What a bunch of gutless cowards.
Key Takeaways
- Celtic will allow Ibrox fans full access to Celtic Park, despite past violent incidents involving them.
- In contrast, a section of Celtic’s own fanbase remains banned indefinitely for trying to protect fellow supporters.
- Critics point out the hypocrisy of Celtic’s management for not condemning Ibrox fans’ actions while keeping their own fans away.
- The failure of Celtic’s board to address these issues exacerbates tensions among the fanbase.
- If Celtic does not bring back the Green Brigade for the match, anger among fans will peak.

The Celtic Board wants the new club to do well and has helped them more than their own club.
If you understand that then everything they do or fail to do makes sense.
Gutless bastards, simple as.
They have no morals or principles, their only aim is to fleece the celtic supporters of as much money as possible without any dialogue with supporters groups , this Desmond and his cabals display of corporate greed for all to see. Stop giving them your money
This decision actually makes me feel physically sick. If anyone was still clinging on that this board has celtic’s interest at heart then that statement clearly blows that out of the water. Absolutely, disgusted.
Those scummy bastards shouldn’t be anywhere near Celtic Park how many times do this board accept attacks on coaching staff, players and our own supporters before they finally ban them for good? Our board is enabling them to get away with everything they do and the SFA and SPFL aren’t doing anything neither are police scotland or the scottish government. For years everybody’s tolerated the Ibrox supporters litany of shame and until somebody finally says enough’s enough it won’t change, is a player going to have to be murdered on the pitch before this is dealt with properly this is what’s potentially ahead of us if this isn’t nipped in the bud. Some might say I’m being overdramatic here but that’s what the future looks like as far as I’m concerned, their supporters had weapons in their hands on Sunday I know because I was at the game. Our board are spineless, gutless and unworthy of holding the positions they do and still they won’t back our own supporters because of a personal grievance between Mark Hargreaves and two Green Brigade members that’s what this all boils down to, how childish and stupid is that? They need to go and the sooner the better because they don’t represent the best interest of the supporters, whose money makes them very wealthy people, or the club as a whole and I’m sick to the back teeth of the way they treat us.
Scottish football should throw the 2 of yous out we dont want yous one sings about the ira and the pope the other sings about the UdA and the king and one thinks they are better than the other its laughable its 2026 lads grow up and leave
Eunuchs !!!!!!!
A player might be murdered on the pitch.
There`s more chance of someone being
murdered off the pitch where there are no
one around to help them.
Mind you: when you see the photos of the graffiti and other damage done, the
Celtic support has its fair share of useless, thick halfwits.
I think it`s about time an age limit was
put on the sale of tickets fo these games
just as there are limits for the entry to pubs.
I would suggest that only those over 90
years of age with the strict condition that
they were accompanied with their great
granny on an uncle`s side.
Seriously though, there should be an age limit to keep most of the prigs in their mud cabins during games.

With all due respect. Did you never ever
fancy trying to get wee bit of an education?
With all due respect my education was just fine you just need to see my house that will tell you everything
Stephen
Sorry for my nasty remarks to you. It is not normally in my nature.
If you have a nice house I am pleased for you.
A ban on the away fans is not the way to go. That means the minority has totally fucked the majority. That can not be allowed to happen.
You will then find our fans being banned from many grounds as most clubs are anti Celtic and will use the least excuse. Be careful what you wish for. Why eff it up for all the orderly and decent fans.
Your hate for the Board is clouding your
thinking Eric. You do not attend games so it does not impact you.
The way to fix this is a little bit at a time and we will overcome. Patience man patience.
Notice the difference in the headlines by the Daily Record this evening ?
‘ Rangers make statement over Celtic shame game ‘
‘ Celtic make statement over Ibrox chaos ‘
How about we show we are willing to be friends and say they can have 1 (ONE) fan to cheer them on. Any seats broken he can get nailed . I worry for the poor toilets also.
Our board – well, wimps is too small a word. What they hell are they continually scared of ? Hope the fans make their feelings clear on Saturday

‘Stephen
With all due respect. Did you never ever
fancy trying to get wee bit of an education?‘
This from the same Frankier who this week alone has suggested
1: Celtic should cut all historical ties with Ireland
2: Humza Yousaf, a politician, should be running Celtic
3: Has, incredibly, blamed the Irish government for tolerating the abuse Irish people get in Scotland!
4: Has advocated writing letters to, and I quote, ‘ Write closed letters even to the
49ers, to the SFA or SPFL, to the various
members of parliaments, to Sky, the BBC
and, mainly, repeat MAINLY, to the Irish
Government. They are close enough, as close as Aberdeen, to know what is happening in Scotland and has been since the nineteenth century. They are the ones I blame. They would rather cow-tow to the football organisations in Scotland in helping to host football tournaments.’
So, Frankier, in his highly educated wisdom, majority blames the Irish government for the singing of the Famine Song & The Billy Boys at £1brox, and further blames the Irish government for how the generational Irish are treated in Scotland …
Tell us, Frankie, what level of education did you flunk out at yourself?
For this is unadulterated nutcase madness you’re coming out with here and I strongly recommend you give your head a shake and try to recalibrate yourself into the real world for a change.
Apologies, I forgot Frankie’s 5th point, that Celtic supporters should take spray cans off any Tim spray painting painting £1brox then REPORT THEM TO THE POLICE …
You know, grass them up and hand them into the biggest Catholic/Irish hating Masonic organisation in all Europe.
Would you grass up your mates, Frankie?
Do you trust the cops as much as you trust politicians?
You don’t do irony, do you , Frank?
Also forgot Frankie’s 6th point of the week, likely as I’m still in shock at the utter mindless stupidity of it, and that is to introduce an age limit at the fitba.
So no more being taken to the games for the youngsters, no more dreams of glory, in fact no more fans of the future as the by the time they’re allowed into the grounds they’ll be too busy getting drunk and chasing tail, under Frankie’s age limit suggestion.
Tell us, O, Oracle, what other ingenious ideas have occurred to you this week?
For if you can get this much wrong about the fitba in one week feck knows what other bizarre random thoughts are gushing around between those one and a half braincells of yours.
Right!
Enough is enough.
Can you and the T.T. bhoys get a piece up on the progress of the CSL and Mr Haughey’s progress to set up a real voice and opposition to these dire incumbents of a supposed board of directors.
Why are they stealing a fortune from the club for a puppet service.
That Desmond character an Irish version of the Greek cant @ Forest, FFS.
