Last night, an X post about Julian Araujo from A Celtic State of Mind’s John Hughes was doing the rounds.
The information contained in the post is pretty alarming.
If its true, that is.
It would appear that the fallout from the Scottish Cup tie at Ibrox is continuing to haunt us.
Losing Julian Araujo for the title run in is not something we would have factored in, but if this post is factual, it would appear that we already have lost him.
Also, if this really is the case, it is just another sign of the pathetic way that this club conducts itself.
According to the post on X, Araujo’s personal conduct came into question after the Scottish Cup quarter final against the Ibrox side.
Apparently the Celtic hierarchy were “disgusted and enraged” with the behaviour of some of the Celtic players when they went out on the town to celebrate their win.
He didn’t have a kid? Some lunatic just made that up? I fecking congratulated him🙄

I hope the rest of this isn’t true. Can’t afford to lose any good players. pic.twitter.com/D7iniFAazs
1. “Disgusted and enraged” with the fanbase – tick.
2. “Disgusted and enraged” with the football squad – tick.
3. “Disgusted and enraged” at themselves for destroying Celtic football club?
Not on your fucking life!
Martin O’Neill is also included in the “disgusted and enraged” category.
It appears that Julian Araujo’s pipe swinging antics and Tomáš Čvančara’s taunting of Ibrox fans on his mobile phone sent the hierarchy over the edge.
So much so, that they’ve sent Araujo back to Bournemouth.
Now, I get that going a bit wild on a night out is not becoming of a professional footballer, but to cut Araujo’s loan short because he got pissed and hung out of a pipe?
That seems a bit extreme to me.
Especially when he is the kind of player Celtic really need for this title run in.

Araujo is supposed to be back in Bournemouth for treatment on his injury during the international break.
However, Martin O’Neill is unsure if he will return to the club.
Out of the 7 players pictured on that night out in Glasgow, only Viljami Sinisalo has started a game since.
Which begs the question, just how bad was their behaviour that night?
So bad that it could hurt our chances in what’s left of this title race?
If that’s the case, the players have a lot to answer for.
But this is just endemic of a Celtic season that has spiraled out of control, with a board that is incapable of controlling it.
Everything seems to induce a scorched earth attitude.
If the fans misbehave – ban them.
And if loan players misbehave – send them back to their parent club.
Regardless of how much they’re contributing to this campaign.
Nothing seems to be thought through anymore.
Now, Julian Araujo could return after the international break, so this could all just be conjecture.
But if he doesn’t, would it really shock you?
Would it shock you that the Celtic hierarchy would remove a player from the squad who could be pivotal when it comes to our chances in this title race?
We saw what we were missing without Araujo yesterday.

Not having him for the run in, which already is starting to resemble a lost cause, just further adds to that lost cause.
Celtic really has gone to shit this season.
There is no more subtle a way to put it.
We are in deep shit, and I don’t see any way out of it any time soon.
Nor do I see anyone capable of pulling us out of it at Celtic Park.
How did it ever come to this?
We all know the answer, don’t we?
Key Takeaways

Driver of the year – Dujon Sterling crashed his car into a wall , wrecked a steel pedestrian barrier , writing off his motor into the bargain after a night on the ’tiles ‘ after his clumpany beat Celtic and being charged by Plod for being ‘blitzed while driving ‘ and gets the old ‘ kids glove ‘ treatment from the Ibroxland hierarchy ! Obviously comparing any alleged Araujo incident with Sterling’s is not too wise but it does feel like another bit of evidence that Celtic FC is regressing under this current board at a rate of knots as opposed to progressing like any modern establishment should ?
This report has me thinking Hargreaves may have a German relative who was quite happy to live behind the Berlin Wall.
Said relative was involved in the day to day running of the security services and has passed on information to our Obergruppenfuhrer how Dynamo Berlin conducted their business in the late 1970’s-80’s.
That information is now being utilised by the powers that be inside Celtic Park whereby we have a sterile, regimented fanbase and playing squad who will only be permitted to “enjoy” their fitba in a manner which will be bereft of spontaneous reaction to any incidents which will cause the club hierarchy to enter a state of apoplexy.
Welcome to the new iteration of Stasi FC !
Ps,Nothing lasts forever, Dynamo Berlin’s regime came tumbling down along with the aforementioned Berlin Wall !
I’m Disgusted and Enraged with the parasites on our board.
Desmond and his cabal keep dragging this club lower than anyone could have ever thought and will continue to do so , they are only interested in the money , their heads are right in the trough up to their greedy little necks . Stop giving them your money
Sinisalo Araujo Cvancara and Murray were 4 of the alleged 7. Who were the others ?
I would like to think everything now comes to season book holders. Your choice because they are not going anywhere. As for a manager you’re looking at him. Masonry..
Don.t buy season tickets and see how the board like that.It would also be beneficial if Desmond was to disappear and we could get investors from an NFL team, the Green Bay Packers would do nicely as they play in the right colours.
