Its going to get incessant from here on out folks, you know it is.
Every chance they get, the SMSM are going to be driving home what an achievement it will be if the Ibrox side reach the summit of the Scottish Premiership.
Its already being talked about in this morning’s Record, even though the possibility of it is still 11 days away.
Andy Newport is losing the run of himself at the prospect of the Ibrox side sitting on the top of the table should they beat Dundee United on the 4th of April.
He thinks its appeared ridiculous five short months ago.
I’ll tell you what will be utterly ridiculous.
If Celtic manage to pull this one out of the fire and win the League.
That will be ridiculous.
But will we get any credit for it?
No, it’ll just be a case that it was inevitable that Celtic would win their 5 in a row in the end.
If we still, somehow, manage to win the title this season, it will be an achievement of miraculous proportions.
When you consider what a complete shambles this season has been, winning the League would be nothing short of astounding.
But the SMSM will not give Celtic any recognition if that comes to pass.
Instead, we’re going to have to read hyperbole from the likes of Andy Newport on what a ridiculous achievement it’ll be if the Ibrox side goes top for 24 hours.
As we discussed in depth last night on the Trinity Tims podcast, the Celtic board is destroying our club.

They are taking away every bit of enjoyment there is to supporting Celtic.
But not only are they doing that, they are providing content to the SMSM that is going to depress Celtic fans even further.
Genuinely, who gives a shit if the Ibrox side are top for 24 hours?
But this is the shite we’re going to be subjected to at every hands turn from here on out.
If Ryan Naderi scores that fabled first goal for the Ibrox side – wall to wall coverage.
And if Hearts or ourselves lose on Sunday the 5th, watch the sycophancy go into overdrive.
Every bit of joy we derive from watching Celtic has been taken from us this season by the board.
Every bit.
And what’s more, they take pleasure in doing it.
On ACSOM yesterday, Paul John Dykes said that he had it from good sources that Michael Nicholson and the board despise the Celtic fans.
No shocks there.
I think the feeling is totally mutual on that score.
Chris McKay’s yawning behaviour last Sunday was bordering on childish.
I honestly don’t think James could have put it any better on the podcast how Celtic fans perceive McKay.
And how he will be remembered when he eventually leaves the club.
These men are the cancer that needs to be ripped out of Celtic.
They provide nothing to our club, other than a lust to antagonise it’s faithful support.

Nearly every single fan is sick to their back teeth of them.
I think deep down they all know they won’t be leaving a positive legacy behind them when they eventually leave Celtic.
They will go down as the most hated board in the history of our club.
But you know what the sad thing about that it?
It didn’t need to be that way for them, or us for that matter.
They’ve had chance, after chance, to halt the downward trajectory of this club, and they’ve chosen to continue driving it into the dirt.
And the SMSM are loving every second of it.
They will drive it home at every opportunity.
So much so, that if the Ibrox side are on top of the table for 24 hours, it will get wall to wall coverage.
Just another facet of the wonderful job this Celtic board is doing.
Misery is going to be the order of the day as long as they remain in power.
We have to ensure those days are numbered.
Key Takeaways
- The SMSM will hype it up if Ibrox side reaches the top of the league, but Celtic achievements will go unrecognised.
- Celtic’s board is accused of ruining fans’ enjoyment and causing frustration this season.
- Fans feel the board has a disregard for supporters and will leave a negative legacy.
- Coverage will be disproportionate if the Ibrox side briefly tops the table amid Celtic struggles.
- Misery for fans will persist as long as the current board remains in power.

Last week they were doing stories about international teams fighting over Naderi
9 games and 2 goals against Queens Park
I wouldn’t hold my breath, they are a shower of bottle merchants…..
Also the embryo club holding out the begging bowl to Club 2012, now that is a story…
HH
There is no way that a Celtic team that is unarguably the worst ever will come close to winning this league.
A useless shower of con men who struggled to beat Auchinleck Talbot??????? No way whatsoever.
They couldn`t have picked a worse time either when both
THEM and Hearts have new, 21st century, investors while
the Celtic directors remind you of the old guys in the balcony on The Muppets.
it would be just typical of Celtic`s season if it is them who
seals the deal for the r4angers by beating Hearts when they meet after the split.
C`mon the jam farts.
Yep , I scrolled though their Twitter feed today and as you predicted Eric that guy Newport and his chums at the Record have completed lost their minds and prematurely shot their loads again
Do they ever learn ?
