Are Celtic the most hated club in world football?
That’s the question that has been doing the rounds on social media since about 3 o’clock last Saturday afternoon.
Well, I can answer that one fairly easily.
If the world constitutes the west of Scotland, parts of the north of Ireland, and some isolated parts of the UK, then I guess we are.
The most hated club in their world.
The supporters of two clubs – Hearts and the Ibrox side.
Hearts supporters and their manager, broadly supported by fans of the Ibrox club, have been crying that Hearts were never going to be allowed to win the League.
Well, if they weren’t going to be allowed to win the League, Celtic certainly weren’t going to be allowed to celebrate one of the greatest comebacks of all time without having it labelled as tainted and corrupt.
People really are losing their minds here.
I knew our rivals hated us.
I knew that the outcry if we won this was going to be ridiculous.
And it certainly hasn’t disappointed.
A certain Unionist figure cannot hide his hatred for all things Celtic in the last 36 hours.

With the amount of posts he’s put up on X, his fingers must be in tatters and bleeding at this stage.
He’s been howling about cheating, corruption, bent referees, declaring a 3-0 win to Hearts as a result of the pitch invasion, and on, and on, and on.
Below is just an example of the posts he has been putting on X.

The hurt runs deep with this one.
If you look at his X account, the posts on this subject are endless.
There’s being obsessed and there’s being obsessed, but this takes it to whole other level altogether.
We always knew that the outcry from certain quarters if Celtic won this title was going to be genuinely unhinged.
But even I didn’t expect it to be as hate filled and vitriolic as it has been.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m enjoying every second of it.
It’s actually genuinely amusing to see the amount of people who are losing their minds over this.
Let me put it this way.
If the title decider had been at Tynecastle, and Hearts had clinched the league in similar circumstances to the way Celtic did, do you think their fans would have just stood and clapped politely when the final whistle was blown?
When titles are won under the kind of conditions we’ve witnessed in Scotland over the last few weeks, the outpouring of emotion is going to be uncontainable.
The same would have applied to Hearts had the roles been reveresed.
Pitch invasions happen the world over.
It’s part of football.
But it’s not permitted at Celtic Park.
Celtic players and fans are not allowed to celebrate in that way because it’s disrespectful, and it really hurts the feelings of Ibrox and Hearts fans.
It is now Monday morning, and we still await footage of an attack on a Hearts player.
In the meantime, we’ve seen footage of Lawrence Shankland assaulting a Celtic fan.
We’ve seen another Hearts player aggressively attempt to smash a Celtic fan’s phone.
On top of that, we’ve seen a headlines in a paper stating that Hearts players came into the dressing room bloodied and beaten.
With not a single video or photographic evidence to prove these claims.
I notice that everybody was also going berserk down south in England after Notts County fans invaded the pitch when they secured a place in the League two play-off final last weekend.

Because you know?
It doesn’t happen anywhere else, does it?
Nobody gets emotionally carried away on big footballing occasions, do they?

That only happens at Celtic Park.
Where people get bloodied and battered and fear for their lives because Celtic fans are “menacing and threatening”.
We all know why Hearts vacated Celtic Park on Saturday the way they did.
We all know who made that call, and why he made that call.
The below X post tells you all you need to know.
The three stages of Derek McInnes

Everybody knows why it happened.
In the meantime, I’ve given these twats enough airtime.
We’ve got a Scottish Cup Final to look forward to, and the possibility of landing a double.
Then all we need to do is figure out where Martin O’Neill’s statue should go at Celtic Park.
The trials and tribulations of being a Celtic fan.
As for the begrudgers, I’ve one message for you.
Cry more.

It’s an absolute joy to be a tim in these moments.Keep on crying as it keeps the smile on my face.
You are just making the title win ,number 56, all the more enjoyable.
Here comes the double.HH
If the Hearts fans want to look at why the league wasn’t won all they’d do is check Mr McInness record in his last 8 away games……
1 win (Against 9 men) in 8 games……
Also, if the embryo club want to accuse anyone of tainted titles they should check the records of their previous club during the EBT decade……
HH
Celtic and the celtic fans have every right to bask in the glory and celebrate this amazing win ,but Scotlands shame the ragers and other sectarian groups who cannot abide var and pattern of assistance being created to stop decades of dodgy offsides and penalties red cards that where always used to their advantage corrupt officials are the next thing that needs addressed
Have they all forgot that Neil Lennon was attacked at tynecastle, they forget the abuse from hearts supporters to Celtic players at tynecastle
McInnes, Mcmoist , and carpet heid Boyd are one of the main reasons about sectarian hatred in the Scottish game all there employers should take a hard look at the trouble they incite on national tv sites McInnes singing with his friend Findlay, Mcmoist stating he would be one of forty thousand singing that vile song arrested and Boyd well always stirring hatred on sky .
Celtic need to scroll through every piece of footage after the game and prove that a vast majority of these stories are untrue and challenge the sfa and hearts about it to end all this sour grapes McInnes his team were one point in front one goal up and could not go this distance a bitter vile person why. don’t hearts send photos of all their assaulted players to prove his delusional claims.
For years Jackson and his pals have laughed off conspiracy theories
