Celtic could launch a move to sign Manchester United youngster Scott McTominay on loan in January.
According to The Scotsman, the Hoops could be interested in a move should the player become available.
After breaking through at Manchester United, McTominay was linked with a loan move to Celtic over the summer, but he opted to remain at Old Trafford and fight for his place.
There are now suggestions that the player could be moved out on loan for the second half of the season.

The Hoops would certainly be able to offer the Scottish international regular first-team football in a way that Manchester United are simply unable to do.
McTominay is very highly rated by Mourinho, so it is yet to be seen if he will be willing to let the player leave on loan.
The 21-year-old has been limited to two Premier League starts under Mourinho this season and a further two appearances off the bench.
