Ryan Christie’s performance in Scotland’s 4-0 win away to Albania was described as “fantastic” by midfielder Darren Fletcher.
Christie produced a star showing in an important UEFA Nations League win for Alex McLeish’s side on Saturday, as his stock continues to grow.
The 23-year-old had a hand in three of Scotland’s four goals on the night and impressed in all facets of his game.
Speaking on Sky Sports after the game, Fletcher singled out Christie for special praise:

I thought that Ryan Christie was fantastic in midfield.
I thought he set the tempo. I thought he was involved in all the goals
Christie has shone when given the chance for Celtic this season, scoring three times in 16 appearances.
It has helped Brendan Rodgers’ side return to the summit of the Scottish Premiership, enhancing their chances of securing the ‘treble-treble’ in the process.
Christie also now has four Scotland caps to his name and will hope to remain a key member of the Tartan Army moving forward.
Scotland’s win puts them level on six points with Israel at the top of their UEFA Nations League C1 group.
