Celtic demolished Kilmarnock on Saturday afternoon as Brendan Rodgers saw his side secure a comprehensive 5-1 win.
The Hoops were able to steal a march on their counterparts as they made their return to the top of the Scottish Premiership table with a much-needed victory at home.
James Forrest handed Celtic the lead with five minutes on the clock before Odsonne Edouard extended his side’s advantage. Mikael Lustig added a goal and Ryan Christie converted to hand the hosts a 4-0 lead at half-time.
Eamonn Brophy scored a penalty seven minutes after the interval for Steve Clarke’s side but Celtic’s win was sealed as Forrest bagged his second of the afternoon.

Quietly went about his business and was always looking to create.
Odsonne Edouard - 8
Netted a goal and was always lively, looking to find pockets of space in the Killie defence.
Olivier Ntcham – 5: Worked hard but had little influence.
Leigh Griffiths – 5: As above. Griffiths looked lively but did little.
Scott Brown – 5: Only on for a short period. Shored up the midfield but didn’t impose himself.
