New Celtic striker Vakoun Issouf Bayo has set himself a target to emulate former Chelsea frontman Didier Drogba.
According to BBC Sport, the Ivorian likens himself to his legendary compatriot, expressing how they have similar characteristics in their respective styles of play. He said:
When Didier was younger he was known for his speed, which is something I’m known for. He was also renowned for his heading ability and I am also good in the air. In a way, I’m inspired by and play in the same style as him.

Bayo joined Celtic from Slovakian side Dunajska Streda for a fee of £2 million after an in-form spell in the country’s top flight, where he registered 18 goals in 32 games.
The Hoops have recently announced the loan signing of Timothy Weah from Paris Saint-Germain, so competition for a spot in the Celtic front-line will be tough.
Brendan Rogers’ side sit in top spot in the Scottish Premiership, one point above second-placed Kilmarnock, who defeated third-placed Rangers to open up a two-point gap.
Bayo is eager to leave his mark on proceedings with Celtic and will be desperate to get on the scoresheet as soon as possible.
