A number of Celtic fans have reacted to Jonny Hayes’ involvement in the second goal against Motherwell.

The versatile 32-year-old started at left-back for the second game in succession following the famous midweek win over Lazio, and his cross resulted in Celtic’s second against Motherwell, with Richard Tait firing the ball into his own net.

And following the assist, these fans have praised Hayes once again.

Hayes has certainly proved how useful a player he is to have around this season, with the second goal against Rangers and his performance against Lazio the standout’s so far, alongside his contribution to this goal.

The 32-year-old is currently out of contract at the end of the season, but given how he has been Celtic’s most used substitute so far this season, and his previous two appearances, a new deal may well be in the offing.
