Celtic are reportedly back in the hunt to sign Patryk Klimala this month and they could confirm the signing of the striker in “the coming days.”
The Hoops had appeared suffer a setback in their pursuit of Klimala, after reports earlier this week suggested Genoa were ‘closing in’ on the striker.
However according to Polish outlet Przeglad Sportowy, Celtic have expressed a strong interest in Klimala once again and the report claims a potential transfer in the near future “cannot be ruled out.”

Celtic now appear to be showing signs of life when it comes to signing a striker this month, after previous reports had apparently ruled them out of the running with regards to both Klimala and Andraz Sporar, and that’s excellent to see.

We feel it’s essential for Lennon to bring in a striker prior to the return in order to provide the club and supporters with a boost. Though the Hoops are still top of the league, defeat to Rangers prior to the break emphasised the need to strengthen.
And after numerous links with various players over the last month or so, the one thing we want to see is a new striker who can come in and support Odsonne Edouard up front, especially after seeing Lewis Morgan fill in up front earlier in the season.
However Celtic are yet to bring in any new signings in January and they return to action following the winter break next weekend against Partick Thistle in the cup.
In order to properly push for nine in a row this season, Lennon must ensure the right players are brought in.
Celtic will have a busy schedule following the break, and two or three more additions will allow the Hoops boss the opportunity to rotate his squad while maintaining a full strength side.
