Nadir Ciftci has made the loan move to Plymouth Argyle as he looks to get some regular game time.
The Turk has failed to impress Brendan Rodgers and break through into the starting line-up once again.
His unsuccessful loan spell at Pogoń Szczecin last season did not help his case, as he failed to score a single goal in eight appearances.
The 25-year-old will look to impress during his spell in League One, with the hope of forcing a permanent move away from Celtic where he is surplus to requirements.
This was demonstrated when the other strikers were injured, and Rodgers decided to play Scott Sinclair up front over Ciftci in the first leg of the Champions League qualifier with Rosenborg.
Plymouth are managed by former Ross County manager Derek Adams who will look to get Ciftci’s full potential out of him in every match.
Since leaving Dundee United in 2015, the forward has failed to make a strong impression with the three clubs he has been with.
Celtic will be hoping that he finds his form, so that they can gain a reasonable fee for his services in the near future.
