Celtic midfielder Callum McGregor says the Hoops will be confident about their chances of seeing off rivals Rangers on Sunday.
As reported by BT Sport, McGregor admits he is looking forward to the prospect of meeting their rivals in the Scottish Cup semi-final at Hampden Park on Sunday.
In terms of winning games like this one, it will give us more confidence and we know we can go and wrap the league up the week after the Rangers game.
There was a lot of noise coming from Rangers the last time we played them and that started to turn heads and maybe swung things in their favour going into the game.
Now we have that confidence. Rangers will be confident as well but we know in the tough situations we can look after ourselves so we will be confident.
Not only is a place in the final at stake, Rangers will be looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to Celtic at Ibrox just a month ago.
Beating Rangers would set up the chance for the Hoops to win back-to-back domestic trebles under Brendan Rodgers.
After Sunday’s 2-1 win over Hamilton Rodgers’ side are just three points away from winning another Scottish Premiership title.
The SPFL are due to announce the next round of fixtures this week as Celtic find out who they will face to potentially secure another trophy.
