Celtic have been warned about the prospect of starting Scott Brown in tonight’s game against Rosenborg.
The club captain has flown out with the rest of the squad for the Europa League match and is expected to play some part in the game.
Ex-Celtic striker and Scottish football pundit Chris Sutton says if it was down to him, he would leave the player on the bench for the start of the game.

Brown has not featured for Celtic since the victory over Hibs and has been struggling with his fitness.
Celtic themselves will be keen to err on the side of caution following the trouble they have had with injuries this season.
Brendan Rodgers has been forced to heavily rotate and make the best of his squad in recent weeks after losing several first-team players to the treatment room.
The Hoops boss will be fully aware of the importance of managing Brown carefully to avoid any further damage.
