According to the Scottish Daily Mail, cited by the BBC, the Hoops are exploring different ways of landing the French Under-21 international.

With Celtic reluctant to meet Bournemouth’s £10m valuation of the forward, the club are believed to be considering a player plus cash move to secure Mousset’s services next season.

Mousset joined the Cherries back in 2016 from French outfit Le Harve and has gone on to make over 50 Premier League appearances, most of which have come from the substitutes bench.

The striker has only netted five times in his Bournemouth career, averaging one goal every 11 games.

Celtic are thought to be keen on adding to their attacking ranks this summer, however, a move for the 23-year-old may well be a risky one, especially considering his lack of goals in the past three years.
