Lennon delighted to be permanently back at Celtic

After half a season back at Celtic following the departure of Brendan Rodgers, Neil Lennon managed to achieve what any manager would dream of, including keeping his team at the top of the Scottish Premier League – beating rivals Rangers.

Neil Lennon has once again been named permanent manager of Celtic on a 12-month rolling contract, and he couldn’t be more delighted, as reported by Football Scotland.

It is an absolute honour to be names Celtic manager once again. I had always dreamed of returning to this role on a permanent basis.

Lennon then went on to say that previously being at Celtic meant the world to him and has always played a huge role in his life.

I am absolutely delighted to be involved in one of the biggest and best clubs in the world. An institution that really does mean so much to me and one that has always been a huge part of my life.

It’s clear that the Northern Irishman wants to do all he can for the Scottish champions, and their fans.

I want to be a part of delivering more of these days, great days.

Having been successful there in the past, it is very likely that Lennon will be able to step up and continue improving the Celtic squad. He’ll be hoping to ensure they stay the champions of Scottish football.
