Celtic will offer Rekeem Harper a ‘bumper’ contract in an attempt to lure the midfielder to Celtic Park this summer.
According to Football Insider, the Hoops have offered the teenager a deal and are willing to increase their initial offer to land the midfielder ahead of the new season.
Harper, who is now a free agent, has also been offered a new deal by the Baggies, which would mean that Celtic would have to pay West Brom a compensation package of around £250,000 for the player.

The 19-year-old has also been on the radar of Tottenham, Liverpool and Juventus, with Celtic hopeful the box-to-box midfielder will make the move north in the coming weeks.
Harper watched Celtic’s final league game of the season against Hearts in May and the Hoops have made the midfielder a top priority after a deal for Motherwell teenager David Turnbull fell through.
Neil Lennon has already added to his ranks with the signings of Christopher Jullien and Luca Connell and will be hoping Harper decides to join the ‘treble treble’ winners ahead of the new campaign.
