Celtic Predicted XI: Dunfermline (H)

A return to domestic action this weekend sees Celtic face Dunfermline in the Betfred Cup second round.

It has been a week to forget for the Hoops after they crashed out of the Champions League qualifying round.

Neil Lennon’s team went into the second-leg with an away goal and seemed confident enough to do the job, but Romanian champions Cluj had other ideas.

A 4-3 defeat at Celtic Park was enough to see Cluj through and drop Celtic down into the Europa League playoffs.

A win this Saturday won’t paper over the cracks whatsoever, but it’s a game that the champions will be focused on winning convincingly to see them progress into the next round and also lift the mood around the club

Changes to the starting lineup are expected, with players likely to be dropped to allow squad rotation.
