Ibrox is the venue for the first clash between Celtic and Rangers this season.
The Hoops failed to score on two visits to Ibrox last season, with the home side running out 1-0 and 2-0 winners.
However Neil Lennon’s side go into Sunday’s game following a strong start to their league campaign, collecting maximum points, as well as an impressive result in the Europa League against AIK Stockholm on Thursday evening.
Goals from James Forrest, Christopher Jullien and Lewis Morgan, as well as an own goal, capped a fantastic result for the Hoops.
Gerrard’s Rangers are hot on Celtic’s heals though, with only goal difference separating the sides.
Rangers also secured European football on Thursday night but relied on an injury time winner from Alfredo Morelos to put aside Polish outfit Legia Warsaw.
Artur Boruc, who loved any occasion against Rangers, controversially led the celebrations for Legia, which was well welcomed from the Celtic faithful.
Come Sunday, Celtic will be looking for leaders across the park who could show the same passion and determination as Boruc did in his Celtic day’s.
